  1. Andro rasanter c series

I have some sheets on the way, will report when I can.
  2. Hurricane 9 official news

Yup ttnpp have them listed now: http://ttnpp.com/store/dhs/1079-dhs-hurricane-9-6.html $48 though! A lot more expensive than 8-80. You can get a hybrid K3 for that price.
  3. Rasanter C Series

world-tt say they will be "slightly tacky" https://world-tt.com/blog/news/archives/22573
  4. New Xiom Jekyll and Hyde Rubbers

Good grief. I assume the C stands for Concrete Little bit more chatter about V and H here: https://world-tt.com/blog/news/archives/22322 V being non-tacky, "like a high-end variation of the Vega line", H being a slightly tacky hybrid.
  5. New Xiom Jekyll and Hyde Rubbers

To add to Fluff's post above, xiom.jp have posted an interesting "story" about V47.5: https://xiom.jp/?tid=3&mode=f29 The translation seems to hint at a low trajectory until you add sharp bushing contact, which reminds me a bit of Tibhar Hybrid K3. I'm looking forward to giving this a go...
  6. New Xiom Jekyll and Hyde Rubbers

I think the full list is: V47.5 V52.5 X47.5 X50.0 H52.5 Z52.5 H might be the tackiest one, Z is the expensive "pro" version. I'm not sure which ones are totally different topsheets, I have seen images of V and H on this (crazy) youtube channel...
  7. New Xiom Jekyll and Hyde Rubbers

Contra and TT11 have got listings for the two V variations, not quite in stock yet but hopefully imminent. Not seen any European listings for the X, Z, or H variants yet unfortunately. The japanese youtube vids do seem to show that H is tackier than V, as fluff mentioned.
  8. Rasanter C Series

Andro japan have posted some bits on twitter: https://twitter.com/kk_androjp/status/1524600425625710592 The C appears to stand for "Counterspin", the focus is on the shape of the topsheet pips. Not sure if these are hybrids / tacky yet.
  9. Dwindling number

I think the sport in the UK has a specific image and accessibility problem that might not be the same in other countries. As NDH said, our local leagues have been in decline for many years, average player age is massively up. We had a golden period where working men's clubs, youth clubs and...
  10. Dhs h8-80

Mine had the corners cut too. Hopefully people are used to the DHS rubber shape by now and can make their own approximations, but it's worth mentioning yes.
  11. Dhs h8-80

    Mine were: 38 degree red - 68.13g 37 degree black - 66.85g
  12. D09c vs H3Neo vs Rakza Z

Agree with manto on this - Razka Z is much softer than 09C, EH would be a more direct comparison. That said, Brian's review is great. It's always worth bearing playing level in mind with these things - I really love RZ on a fast-ish blade, seems to suit my bang average level perfectly. But Brian...
  13. Dhs h8-80

Yeah, it's gone oos on a few sites already. I put an order in for a sheet of 38 to see how different it was, but not heard from the seller yet. Guess they're waiting for stock. I like hybrids of all kinds for close-up stuff, and I think it's great for flicks. It's OK for mid-distance, bit...
  14. Dhs h8-80

I've had a couple of sessions with the 37 degree now. Really like it, similar to H3-50 but feels a bit faster and can generate nasty spin/arc variations. But it's not revolutionary - if you don't like the existing 50 or 60 sponge DHS rubbers then it probably won't change your mind.
  15. Dhs h8-80

Available to order from prott now: https://www.prott.vip/Product-Details.aspx?productcode=H880
  16. Dhs h8-80

Really looking forward to 8-80, big fan of the 50 and 60 sponge hurricanes on a fast blade.

  18. Virtual Reality | ELEVEN Table Tennis

You do need an active facebook account to use the Quest 2. It's a requirement that causes a lot of frustration for people - understandably.
  19. Virtual Reality | ELEVEN Table Tennis

I picked a Quest 2 up for Xmas and I have to say that Eleven is brilliant. Impossible to overstate how useful it's been for me while I'm stuck at home waiting for the club to open up again. Life finds a way and all that. I find the FH stroke much harder than the BH in VR, but my teammates...
