  1. Alternative for boosted h3 neo, for a kid

I play 10h a week with two bats - (local) league bat (6 matches a week, circa 3h playtime) and training bat (around 7h weekly). With D09c, as a hobby player I focus on good usage of my money and rotation of rubbers - I do not chase the absolute performance. The league bat lasts me 6 months...
  2. TT Club Manager a new software I created

The post is fully quoted (as of now at least) in the first reply. I also don't understand why OP removed it. So you can read it, and OP can easily reinstate it with a bit of copy and paste.
  3. TT Club Manager a new software I created

While this software as a service might generally be useful to a handful of people (club managers / secretaries), it is clearly an ad in order to raise revenue. I looked at it, saw the price, and thought that my club money are better spent elsewhere (we need to upgrade tables for example), while...
  4. Which Hurricane 3 version?

From what I understand: - provincial as best value for money, national if swimming in cash or plain bored, avoid commercial like a plague - OS or BS depends on preference, pick one you like most - NEO or non-neo - here I'm lost... NEO only? Doesn't matter? Depends on boosting? Is there a...
  5. Battle of the best FH rubbers

Are these regular H3s or NEOs?

I'd first go to a shop and try the shoes out as feel and sizing is different. As far as I remember, Butterfly 43 which I wear was equivalent to Mizuno 41.5 (EU sizes) [also tried Asics, which was 42 I believe]. Feel was also different - for me most comfortable were Butterfly Lezoline. Now that I...
  7. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

Sounds about right. Is your blade on the heavy end? My Long 5 with 2 x D09C 2.1mm is 192g. Blade is 90g. My other Long 5 with 2 x H3s (2.1mm and 39d, one boosted 3 the other 2 times) is 188g. Blade is also 90g.
  8. What to expect!

Be prepared its true hardness might be different! I've ordered this exact one, and 39d 2.1mm. Both had exact same hardness (shore 0). Black (39d) had a very strong reaction to booster, red (38d on paper) had mediocre reaction. Played a bit with unboosted 39d and 2xboosted 38d. As others said...
  9. Table tennis insoles

I've heard Yasaka insoles are pretty good: https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/yasaka-a-force-insole https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/yasaka-insole
  10. Best yinhe rubber for backhand?

My preference would be Big Dipper 38d or Moon 12 Blue M+ or M- (M-/medium-soft is softer than BD 38 while M+/medium-hard is harder than BD 38). From Friendship like I also liked Dragon-L med-soft (tiny bit harder than BD 38, but softer than Moon 12 Blue M+). These are all 10 bucks rubbers on...
  11. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

I've just disassembled my bat. HL5 (90g)+ D09c 2.1 (52g)+ R7 MAX (50g)= 192g. This includes glue. D09c is too big for Long 5 (came from Ovtcharov), could be 1-2g less if cut to HL5.
  12. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

If it curls (soft one) after you take it off then not really. If it's the stiff type (maintains shape), then yes. Sorry, don't remember which one D09c comes with. From the photo it looks to be a soft one. My friend is using sticky protective foil, while I use non-sticky (since D09c is slightly...
  13. DHS H3 and all versions

I have 3 rubbers that I measured. Do note, these are commercial and the stated hardness (for sure, as I measured using durometer) and thickness (probably) does (may) not match. Black H3 Neo 39 2.1mm OS Commercial - 60g uncut, cut estimate (density * surface area) 42g; density 2.25E-03 Red H3...
  14. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

Very few blades will have two different sides. Long 5 is symmetrical, you can flip it around and play. It might feel a bit uncomfortable, as you've probably rounded down wings with your grip on one side by now. Yes, this is essentially how you can quickly test rubbers - put two different sheets...
  15. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

Fair enough. Do note that D09c is harder than R7/G1. Have you flipped your bat and used G1 on BH? Maybe all you need is a G1 MAX on FH and G1 2.0 on BH?
  16. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

I played with Rakza Z (Extra Hard) on Long 5 on FH. Personally I didn't like this combination, too slow. My partner found it easier to return compared to say a Battle 2 (which was actually on a Viscaria, so apples and oranges). This week I will be checking 3 rubbers on Long 5: - H3 NEO 39d...
  17. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

I'm in a similar place to you - choosing rubbers for the next season due to start next month. I'll limit this post to the rubbers you are interested in. All rubbers I mention were used on a Long 5 blade, and I asked my sparing partner for comment. Rubbers were used on the BH with focus on loops...
  18. Please help me choose non-chinese rubber for beginners!

Xiom Vega line is reasonably priced. A lot of people start with Vega Intro, which as far as I remember is also the cheapest of all Vegas.
