just stick with your current blade and chuck butterfly flextra rubbers in both sides. Excellent spin and control and is very affordable. Good for chopping, blocking, and some attacking shots.
Stiga all round classic as the blade. Use Gewo CS Powerspeed as your offensive rubber. Use Butterfly Flextra rubber as your defending/chopping/blocking rubber. Great combination for what you’re looking for. Should sum up to around $90
I‘m a Manila Batra type attacker using 388 d2 right now. I tried chopping with it before but honestly, it wasn’t great. The ball rebounds off the pimples pretty quickly and doesn’t absorb incoming speed and spin that well.
