10h a day is absolutely crazy 😭. Diamond one damn 😭 yeah Medicine is hella hard. I'm trying to go to a med school too in a few years
  2. Contact point on BH

Yep, you need as many perspectives as you can so that you can get better! Somewhat? Some are for beginners, yes, but some others aren't so much for beginners, maybe intermediate to advanced. You should also search for Ryu Seung Min's training videos, very insightful
  3. Any online gamers over here?

How was the gaming for LoL? Why'd you stop playing as much?
  4. Any online gamers over here?

This is for those who would like to talk abput their interest in video games--I in particular play Tetris, in the form of Tetr.io. Anyone else who would like to talk about their gaming hobbies?
  5. Chopping with short pips?

These guys are pretty much right; these pros want to have more control on the spin of their shots and can play with more versitility
  6. Contact point on BH

This is absolutely true. It all depends of the style of play and their body. This is also true, but I have to say that some wants more control, and therefore gets the ball more to the center of the racket. It's all on the style of the player
  7. OX long pips, but no OX short pips?

Hmm, this is a tough one. However, OX SP is legal in match, so there's that. I think the reason people don't use OX SP often is because OX LP is more disruptive, and if they want speed they add sponge. It's similar to why Medium pips aren't so popular.

How does it compare to its predecessors, the Dignics and Tenergy line?
  9. What's the best Butterfly off wood blade?

Yeah, Stiga, Yasaka, and Nittaku are examples. Although I would say I'm not so familiar with Nittaku.
  10. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

I mean they can compete with shakehand on the topspin-topspin game... on the forehand side. On the backhand side, I agree that Penhold falls a bit short (except Felix idk what that guy did but it worked). Some ways to combat this are to have amazing footwork (see RSM and XX), a funky backhand...
  11. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

This is very smart of you to notice. I agree that in the LP blocking game, Penhold is better than shakehand in almost every way. However, I would say that TPB with inverted allows you to play almost the same types of shots as with LP (drop shots, punches with little spin), but also add its own...
  12. Most optimal playstyle/strategy to master

@blahness stated a lot of things you can work on to quickly win games and improve fast. But as for style, there isn't one definitive answer. Some people are better as defenders, some are better as attackers. Some blockers, and some slappers. The goal here is that you should try to find the...
  13. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

Oh, I call it that because it uses LP, not because it's only LP. It's a snappier name and I like to use it more. Anyway who would use LP only? I see your point, and it does make sense. It isn't a bad idea, I just don't recommend it as much as the other two ideas. Man who wouldn't think that...
  14. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

Now this is a very good point. Honestly not much I can say tbh, but I do have to say that playing with LP Penhold isn't strong at all if you know how to play against it. Playing against long pips is very difficult, if you don't know how to play against it. If you do know, it's much, much...
  15. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

Oh yeah this guy, imo he's an outlier. I still wouldn't recommend it as much as SP or inverted.
  16. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

I dont think you understand my point either. I know youre describing the penhold lp player, and yes it is pretty powerful, but have you seen any top 10 player use it in the modern game? No, right? Theres something about it that makes it weaker in the modern game, and it also looks like this...
  17. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

This is absolutely true, and is what I'm trying to tell @blahness, specifically his ideals for LP
  18. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

I don't think you get it that much... see, the thing is that this style IS INSANELY OP in amateur levels because no one knows how to play against it, nothing more. Once you get the hang of it, you can push the LP player around to oblivion. There is a reason why no modern pro uses Penhold LP...
  19. TPB Penhold Short Pips or Inverted

Oh yeah I have a decent amount of knowledge on this technique. It's very good at confusing the opponents and precise shots, but not much else. A valid playstyle but really restricts where you can go. Maybe if you played for like 3 years and still keep that same style will u switch. This is...
  20. Penhold Straight vs Curved Fingers

Stick to what is comfortable, that's the important part. Having a grip that perfectly encapsulates your style is no use if it doesn't feel comfortable. If you want a recommendation though I say try an in-between between curled and straight.
