  3. Serve strategy

Thanks again, many excellent tips that I certainly never thought of. I will definitely video myself to see what I can adjust. One thing that I try to think of is to step a bit away from the table after my long serves. I too often find my self cemented too close to the table.
  4. Serve strategy

Excellent answer, thank you! I guess my problem is that I don't always get consistent spin on my serves which in turn gives me returns that I didn't expect. I'm also a bit hesitant in anticipating the recieve of my serve, I often watch my opponent and react quite late which too often results in...
  5. Serve strategy

I'm interested in hearing about your serving strategies. I use 5-6 different serves but rarely have a plan for how to follow up the game. Are there any general principles that can help me develop more control over the serve and return game? Any advice much appreciated.

  8. Andro Synteliac

So I bought the vci and used it at tonight's training session. Previously only used all-wood blades and been curious to try a composite blade. I have the flared handle and initially I was worried that the handle felt to thin. But with rubbers on and when I played with I really liked it. I used...

  12. Wood vs Composite and rubber combinations

All-wood (sweden extra, osp expert etc) with hard rubbers (>48, Rasanter r48, dignics 80 etc) or composite (e.g. Viscaria) with softer rubbers (<45, Rasanter r45, Tenergy 05fx). What differences can I expect from these two combinations? Which combination is more balanced in terms of speed, spin...

  15. Allround/Allround+ blade?

Ok, I'll narrow down my question before I stop asking silly questions: differences between Yasaka Sweden Extra and Stiga Allround Evolution?
  16. Allround/Allround+ blade?

Before I press on the buy button, can someone describe the differences in terms of speed, spin, control between these blades: Stiga Allround classic, stiga allround evolution, yasaka sweden extra, Appelgren allplay and osp expert ii?
  17. Allround/Allround+ blade?

Thanks! I'll look around in my training group to see if I can compare different handles.
  18. Allround/Allround+ blade?

Thank you so much! I'll go with straight handle and I think it'll work just fine. I've read a lot about the Stiga evolution and it may be exactly what I want. However, I'm a bit confused from trying to understand its difference from the SC. Same wood composition and almost the same thickness...
  19. Allround/Allround+ blade?

Hello! After testing around with different blades (Stiga carbonado 45, Nittaku Acoustic) I think I've found what I want. I've borrowed and been practising with the Stiga Allround Classic for two weeks and it feels almost perfect with my tenergy 05 (fh) and Rakza 7 (bh). So much more consistent...
