I have speed glued classic rubbers and the feeling is amazing but if you use abuse them you can kill the sponge in days, I used to use 3 massive puddles or 9-10 normal layers to get the strongest effect possible. Of course I wasn’t using them in competition, it was just an experiment as I’m not...

I can’t, some sponsored players can like they did for Tenergy 05 Hard 2 years before it was released, but I do know players that can get it. Tenergy 05 Hard is a much better rubber (than the commercially available D05) due to the greater hardness and, especially when boosted, is significantly...

A lot of players that used it and prefer non-sticky forehand rubbers switched to the harder pro version Dignics 05. It depends on your style and what you prefer, tacky rubbers are good at neutralising your opponents spin and quality and giving you more time to add your own spin. That doesn’t...
  4. Should I get Tenergy 05 or dignics 80 for jpen intermediate??

Why would anyone bash their own equipment that suits their playing style, different rubbers have different tradeoffs as any particular change in their characteristics will have both positive effects in some areas and negative in others. There isn’t a perfect rubber, there’s what suits your style...
  5. What is everyone's number 1 table tennis goal for 2025?

    1) Further increase the spin quality and variation in my service (this is a strength that gives me an advantage over my opponents and I'd like to keep it that way as I get better and play opponents at a higher level), Kim Taek Soo could often get 5 service point in a row even against the top...
  6. Need Suggestion : Planning to buy a new custom racket - Intermediate Player

That's a good combination for an intermediate player, however I would suggest getting the Donic Baracuda on both sides as Rakza 7 is a very unremarkable rubber and Baracuda is soft and controlled enough for an intermediate to use on both sides.
  7. Should I get Tenergy 05 or dignics 80 for jpen intermediate??

The normal Tenergy 05 is what you want, when your technique gets good and you feel like you're hitting through it too easily when looping at the expense of spin you can look at starting to use the Dignics series.
  8. Tenergy 05 = most overrated equipment item?

Tenergy 05 is great for service-receive, it produces serves with heavy spin and the short game is nowhere near as difficult as people make it out to be. Being able to push short against backspin, topspin and nospin serves requires the right technique and timing. Harder rubbers make it seem...

10 sheets of Butterfly Tenergy 05 Hard 1 bottle of Haifu Seamoon National Yellow for the Tenergy 05 Hard
  10. tenergy 05 hard + korbel

Normal Tenergy, never mind the Tenergy 05 Hard, has very hard feeling on soft and flexible blades like the Korbel meaning that it will be difficult to feel the sponge penetration as you accelerate when looping. It's a rubber that's very suited to Viscaria style blades due to the hard Koto making...
