  1. New Stiga Mantra Pro

Just ordered a pink Mantra Pro H on AliExpress, needed a cheaper option as FH rubber for a second racket. Running DNA Platinum M on my main racket, Mantra Pro's tend to feel soft, so opted for the H. Normally I run black FH and coloured pips on BH. Does anyone know if there is any noted...
  2. Looking for forehand hybrid rubber

I think for price/performance the Friendship Battle 3 should get a very good shout. Easily found for around 25 euros, very durable for a hybrid/Chinese rubber. Great control, and if you get the harder variants (maybe boost them) the rubber preforms amazingly. It's a bit more on the Chinese side...
  3. Yinhe Pro 01 vs Stuor Vis

A mate of mine went through 3 Stuor Viscaria clones and his third one made him move to a different blade. His first and second one were identical to each other and both blades had to be replaced after a year of playing with broken edges. They seem pretty soft/easily damaged, idk if the Viscaria...
  4. What Best Long Pips with Sponage 0.6

Do you also preform regular blocks and more hitting/driving strokes with the P1V? If so, how does it preform in that department?
  5. ❓What Is Your Setup, and WHY?

Sauer & Tröger Banana ST Love this blade, with a squared ST handle. Hard outer layers are good under LP's, both OX and with thin sponges. Stiga DNA Platinum M - FH When I switched to the all-wood blade, I decided to also switch my FH from Chinese to EU-Tensor, to compensate for the speed of a...
  6. 20 year old Timo boll forte off alternative?

I used to play this with this blade up until I stopped when I was 19. Bryce FC both sides, max FH bit thinner BH. When I got back at 29, I initially used my old blade, until I broke it by standing on it while falling over my back. Initially I transferred to a Petr Korbel with Rozena's, but...
  7. FS: Artte Italia DEF

The Chinese equipment collection has sold, only the Artte Italia DEF left 🙂
  8. FS: Artte Italia DEF

Hi TTD, As an early attempt at Spring cleaning, I am clearing out my unused table tennis supplies. I am from The Netherlands, possible to ship in the EU (shipping costs to the buyer). Chinese equipment collection: €50 Sold Artte Italia DEF: €40 Pictures: Imgur The Artte Italia DEF is a...
  9. ❓What Is Your Setup, and WHY?

My current setup: Sauer & Troger Banana ST FH: Stiga DNA Platinum M Max BH: Yinhe 955 Green 0.7 Am on a LP BH for about 9 months now, trying to be aggressive and attack with em, close to the table. Tried several different blades and rubbers, but I have now settled for all-wood and a tensor FH...
  10. Rumour new Butterfly flagship rubber

I also saw that the Bugller rubber is officially announced for release in May. Marked by BTY as Pimples Out (i.e. not long pimple) it looks like a medium pimple rubber with an attacking sponge. https://www.butterfly-global.com/en/products/detail/00470.html
  11. Help me find this TSP blade

Thanks! Gonna dive into what Victas might still have for this blade later :)
  12. Help me find this TSP blade

Hi everyone! Hoping to make use of everyone's equipment knowledge, in specific older TSP blades. A clubmate of mine swears by an old TSP frame he has, which he doesn't know the name of anymore, just that it currently no longer available as TSP has been rebranded to Victas. Does anyone know...
  13. Experiences with Butterfly BalsaCarbo X7 22?

I have played for around 1 to 1,5 years with this blade and really liked it! Tbh, only reason I switched blades, was my move to LP, which the only rubber type I didn't like on it. Good speed, nice feeling on hit, bit on the softer side also since it's an inner carbon blade. Works with EU...
  14. Post your latest EJ purchase

My EJ purchases over the last 1,5 months, topped off with a visit to Game11 today. With these two blades I am gonna head into the Spring 2025 season of my local league. Artte Italia DEF ST (second hand) Sauer & Troger Banana ST (second hand) 2x Stiga DNA Platinum M Black Max (one on backorder)...
  15. Is the BTY Korbel (EU) head size and weight a problem?

I have not tried Stiga or DHS blades, so can't comment on it. I have tried the Stuor Long V clone (a DHS Long V clone) and that has a larger head than the Korbel. This blade felt less head heavy then my Korbel did, even with Chinese rubbers on it.
  16. Is the BTY Korbel (EU) head size and weight a problem?

I tried the Korbel with BTY Rozena's on both sides, one side a bit thinner. I absolutely hated how headheavy that blade was, so I can imagine that with Chinese rubbers this even amplified. I do have to say that I am very sensitive for headheaviness, so for others it might be less pronounced...
  17. Loki Kirin SP/MP/LP - any info?

Played a session today with the Kirin LP, glued to an Artte Italia DEF blade. Indeed a faster long-pip rubber, plays fairly easily. Can be used near the table, but doesn't have a lot of deception/LP-trickery. Needs to be used actively at the table, especially hitting a ball works quite well...
  18. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Had a session today with my Telson 100 and T3 W81 setups. T3 has indeed a higher base speed, but is as fast, maybe even slower on the same blade as the T100 on active strokes. T3 is very linear, great blocking rubber/flat hitting rubber, as it seems quite insensitive to incoming spin. T100 has...
  19. Follow up for Xiom Vega intro

Hardness is only 1 part of the equation. Intro is noticably slower then both Europe or Asia, also in regular and DF version. Ahh I see. I would have her try the many test bats, lots of step ups from different brands that are logical evolutions over Vega Intro!
  20. Follow up for Xiom Vega intro

I think the route to go is, does she like the Xiom Vega Intro feeling wise? If so, logical next step would be stepping up the Xiom Vega ladder, with Europe (DF), Asia (DF) as next steps. But, since you are a tacky rubber user, you could also let her try some of your equipment and see if she...
