  1. Developing player with some potential :)

I have to use all available outlets to improve and get feedback. The coach dont have time to watch everything. I am also an adult learner, so I dont get the same resources in clubs as younger players. I have to do most of the work myself. Why would you not show video of yourself and why this...
  2. Mizuno shoes

Got them now and the 45 is what other manufacturers would call 46, which was what I was expecting and it works fine.
  3. Developing player with some potential :)

I would love to check out video of you playing. I have loads of video of me on my channel btw, https://www.youtube.com/@z0uLess/videos
  4. Developing player with some potential :)

You seem to have tremendous success in your playing. Do you have any videos of yourself that you can show, or did you play any table tennis before starting in a club or any other racket sports? I started from scratch myself, but I have now been playing for a year and I have not been able to lift...
  5. Mizuno shoes

This norwegian website states that Mizuno Wave Drive 8 is large for its size, so I ordered what I usually wear, 45 EU, from a german store.
  6. Stiga Offensive Classic vs. Avalox P500

Allright, seems like spinfactory.de got some new straight handle p500s, so I ordered one of those and I wont rush the use of it yet. I think its a good progression from the stiga offensive classic, and its a legendary blade that has inspired many others that came after it. I am going to keep...
  7. Mizuno shoes

Wouldnt this be expensive because you need to pay a toll charge? edit: nvm, they dont have my size (45 EU)
  8. Mizuno shoes

So they say, but i wonder if people say this because they have a wide toebox. I have wide feet, I like to run in wide nodrop shoes like altras and this gives me more balance because my feet has been given the room to splay out over the years.
  9. Which rubbers for stiga offensive classic?

I think you like Donic Appelgren more because you didnt try tacky rubbers on Stiga OC. I think the main difference is between the european and chinese philosophies about what equipment beginners are supposed to start with. Tenshion rubbers work better with softer control blades, tacky rubbers...
  10. Shoes without heightened heel

I cant seem to find any information about the height difference between heel and toe in table tennis shoes. I think football shoes has zero drop, but the indoor versions usually have a heightened heel. Do you guys know any table tennis shoes, or any light weight indoor shoe that has zero drop?
  11. Mizuno shoes

I have the same problem. Would like to buy Mizuno Wave Drive in 11,5 US (45 EU) because people say they have a wide toe box. Btw, do anyone know about how much height difference there is between heel and toe, if there is any? I would like table tennis shoes with zero drop, aka no height difference.
  12. Stiga AC vs Stiga OC for beginners

mightymouse, you seem knowledgable about this blade. I started table tennis one year ago by using Stiga Offensive Classic with soft max rubbers (Yasaka Rigan). My loop didnt really develop untill I put slow sticky rubbers on forehand (H3). After that it was like a dream. Which blade would you...
  13. Barefoot shoes

quick question: do table tennis shoes have a height differense between heel and forefoot?
  14. Stiga Offensive Classic vs. Avalox P500

... there is also Stiga Offensive Classic WRB, I have heard.
  15. Stiga Offensive Classic vs. Avalox P500

I also think that you grow into blades and if you develop a "trick" with one blade I think there is some transfer of this experience to another blade that has different characteristics. I am kinda biased towards those blades that people seem to love on the internet. I have been looking at...
  16. Stiga Offensive Classic vs. Avalox P500

Yea, I would very much like to try it, but it seems the blade is going out of production. As for the OC I am using now, using Yasaka Rakza Z on forehand did wonders for me.
  17. Stiga Offensive Classic vs. Avalox P500

As with how you critically assess what is written on wikipedia, but it is still an average and a good measure when there are many feedbacks on the product. The problem is the hype-machine of new and trending producs that only gain momentum on their own weight. I started playing with Stiga...
  18. Stiga Offensive Classic vs. Avalox P500

Oh, every source I have used has said it is koto outer layer. I feel tricked!
  19. Stiga Offensive Classic vs. Avalox P500

Why is it that Stiga Offensive Classic, allthough it has the same construction as Avalox P500, has different playing characteristics as reviewed by people on revspin.net? I understand that speed, control, flexibility and hardness is pretty similar relative to each other, but is it just that the...
  20. Alternative to Hurricane 3 Neo

Just get a sticky rubber protection cover and keep your racket in a case. The smell wont bother you and it will make your equipment live longer.
