So true. There is a widespread believe that one should have a soft BH rubber but I experienced exactly the same as your son did (but not with Dignics) and do pretty well now with using hard sticky chinese rubbers. These give better control and good spin once one has adapted to them

This is so true, unfortunately. Lots of punters have kept on asking for an explanation why the reduced stickiness by so many manufacturers but none of them has ever come forward with a straight answer.

Some punters here on the forum once said that Aliexpress is not selling goods to Germany. If they do sell to other european countries , a little tip Choose shops that have been established at least a few years. Check their percentage of sale-results and go for shop that are in the high 90s...
