The more i think about what your looking for. The more i think you would reallly like koki niwa wood. Thats a classic blade thats not too heavy, with good speed and fantastic control and feel.

Fast all wood is normally heavier, maybe u could try 1ply hinoki, but that has a distinct feel u may not like

If you like it a d you get them free. Can you look for one with a low weight and a lower frequency? Maybe play it with slightly muted rubbers?

Its not about tape or even rubber. We need to be discussing important things, like what are the most high performance shoelaces currently on the market? What material shoe laces to use. What is the optimal flex in dif material blends. How about weight? How much is too much in a shoelace?
