I'm also interested in the Nittaku Advance Carbon. Unfortunately almost no reviews available. How does it compare to other Nittaku models, like Acoustic Carbon G-Revision (outer) and Gyo-En. Whats kind of wood is the top layer made of, koto? How does it compare to a Viscaria?

You're right! I just realized that. I'll probably order the V-14, Pro-01X and Donic Skachkov Carbon. As I said, I already got the regular Yinhe Pro-01 and V-14 with FL handle. Bought them almost a year ago, but because of this thread I'll glue some rubber on and finally try them out next week...

I'm contemplating Donic Bluegrip M2 as my new BH rubber, but then I found it in the Donic 2015 catalog! Surely, there must be newer rubbers with more finely tuned an developed technology? Right now I use Xiom Vega Korea which I like alot.

Just received my HAL 2nd gen. Didn't ask for a specific weight, but with J&H X47,5 MAX and Vega Korea also MAX it ends up at 186 g. How much would you guess the blade itself weighs in this case?

But keep in mind that when I began training with a club last year, I wasn't a complete beginner who'd never held a bat in their hand. As a teen I spent probably over a thousand hours playng TT with friends. We could play for hours, day after day. But I still concider myself kind of a beginner...

So I might have done a mistake going with Xiom X47,5 J&H on FH and Xiom Vega Korea (45 deg?) on BH? I seriously thought of getting Rakza Z on FH, but I think neither my swing speed or "power" at ball contact are high enough to benefit from a 51 deg hard rubber. I guess 50 deg might be my roof...
