Used to play with hybrids rubbers last 2 years (D09c, DNA Hybrid), switched to Zyre-03 first and now to Helix Platinum - I believe hybrids rubbers time is ticking (maybe 2-3 years more before more players will switch to the new generations of rubbers from BTY and Stiga)

Seeing a lot of "wet" spots on a table, too manu unforced errors into nets and players looking at their blades - looks like the halls have pretty high humidity and it impacts the rubbers grip a lot. Who adopts to this conditions faster is a winner :)

Even Z extrahard is kind of "dead". Very good service, very good opening of downspin balls, but its following attacks are very easy to return. Realy hard to counter with good quality and speed.

Glayzer 09c is not hard but tacky (which is good for FH imho). Try it.

Control - you are playing "your game", not opponents. Doesn't matter you block, counter or chop

Spin is not everything. Crisp and fast counters are easier to activate with carbon. But it's a good advice, if you live in Europe close to Sweden:)

TB ALC and Primorac Carbon are absolutely different blades. PC is way faster\stiffer. I own both. If the TC is coming from PC+Rosena combination, I would recommend starting with the same rubbers first. TB ALC gives way more control than PC. Later if speed\spin from Rosena is not enough - there...

If I may, I would like to add something important here. You are right about activating a sponge - it requires a proper technique especially with inner carbon or other "softer" blades, but by using "fast" blades like Primorac Carbon or Sardius - it is not a problem at all dues to their stiffness...

C1 is a bit softer, G1 is a bit harder. I would go with C1 first
