You don't know it's that they "can't handle it" - many pros also like familiarity and at certain times of year might realize with new equipment that they can't afford the adjustment period that they need. Or maybe they could handle it and just didn't like the characteristics.

Not sure about DONIC specifically but just because it appears to be the blade doesn't mean it is the same or even similar as the market version. Seen that many times.
