  1. Post your latest EJ purchase

I'm waiting for the new Xiom's Omega VII series and J&H C55 to be released this year, but my EJ itch already kicked in this time of the year, aaand here it is... 729 Battle 3 and Xiom Sigma V on Tcore T560
  2. What are your top annoyances about assembling your own table tennis bats?

Haven't had any problems with gluing, so for me it's definitely not cutting the rubbers smoothly
  3. Friendship 729 battle 3

Wow, I'm totally drawn in just by reading. I've never tried chinese rubber before, but here I am just finished gluing a new B3. I figured I have a task to break the rubber in, so wish me luck and patience guys 😄 I thought all Chinese rubbers would be sticky, but the B3 sheet I got wasn't as...
  4. Xiom Sigma III, IV and V rubbers

It's 2024 and Xiom still gives high scores for Sigma V in their 2024 catalog. They're rating it the same as Omega VII Pro with 9.3 speed, 8.7 spin, and 9.0 precision! I wonder if it's still accurate or they just forgot to revise it what with the newer Jekyll&Hyde series already available and new...
  5. New brand!!! Tmount

Alright, thanks for replying right away Migz!
  6. New brand!!! Tmount

I'm thinking of buying the T560 which is still available on a known e-commerce here. Anyone knows whether it comes pre-sealed from the factory or not?
  7. Xiom new collection (2024)

Ahh I see. I guess for the O8 series we now have options to go for thicker sponge or thicker topsheet.
  8. Xiom new collection (2024)

I see the new Omega 8 series will have max or 1.9 sponge thickness. Anybody knows how thick is Xiom's MAX? Or is it different even between their own rubber series?
  9. Post your latest EJ purchase

Wow those look nice! Didn't know asics produce table tennis shoes. I couldn't find them in my country. How do they feel when you're playing?
  10. Xiom new collection (2024)

Hugo is known to dislike or at least choose not to use carbon due to some loss of the feeling, so I'm quite surprised when I see a new Hugo signature blade using TMX. Will Hugo actually use it in a match? I was hoping they also make a non pro version or an inner type though. I'm currently...
  11. Xiom new collection (2024)

Based on the catalogue, the C55 will launch in Summer while the Omega VIII in Fall. Be sure to share with us when you play with them @Migzkulit! Nah, I didn't get a good look from Hugo-Felix match earlier. Maybe we could get one from the semifinal later? He'll be playing against FZD
  12. Xiom new collection (2024)

Hugo defeated Felix 3-0 at Incheon today with Felix getting frustrated on some occasions. Hugo's forehand was really something else. Is it the new Jekyll&Hyde C55 he's using?
  13. Xiom An JaeHyun TMXi blades + Jykell & Hyde Z/H review

Ok thanks for the info @Fedex78
  14. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

Hey Matt! Oh yeah, you're using Dynaryz ZGX on FH aren't you? I've been thinking of using it too but still weighing in on the price vs how long I'll be able to play with it..
  15. Xiom An JaeHyun TMXi blades + Jykell & Hyde Z/H review

Guys does TMXi come lacquered out of the box?
  16. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

Is it maybe the soft topsheet that makes it feels softer than 47.5? Does it spin well? I'm currently looking for a 47.5 rubber for forehand with reasonable price
  17. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

Has anyone used the tronix series for some time and can give some reviews? I'm quite interested in Tronix ACC and would like to know how they play. I saw Gan's video already but keen to know more from ttd people here.
  18. Xiom Vega vs Jekyll&Hyde

Well that's interesting. The V47.5 is fast, but not really bouncy, huh? What rubber were you using before this that made you feel "calm down"?
  19. Xiom Vega vs Jekyll&Hyde

Yes, I'm currently playing with c48 and hexer grip sfx (40). The new rubber would probably be for bh. The hexer can generate spin alright, but I feel like the hexer grip sfx lacks power away from the table. Even from mid distance it sometimes falls short to the net. I'm looking for something...
  20. Xiom Vega vs Jekyll&Hyde

Ah yes, a great review by yogi. I also saw yogi's review on Vega Korea. I guess J&H V has good speed with lower arc than Vegas. Korea doesn't seem to excel in speed but it's more dynamic in many aspects. I think I'll try Korea first.
