Thank you very much ! 😊I brought the blades of my first series that you will soon discover on my website: http://www.lateliernblades.com I also brought the same blades for testing and organized a raffle with a rarer blade. I also took pieces of wood, veneers and others to briefly explain the...

During this weekend I held a stand for the first time to promote my brand and it was a pure delight! I participated in the biggest tournament in the South of France with nearly 450 players. It was an extraordinary and very rewarding weekend! I met a lot of great people there. I never thought...

Ahah 😂 Tonight I will test it with Picot-Man, he will tell me if it is broken or not😂 If he manages to stop supervillains with it then it will be good!!😂 I will try to do a video with him

⚠️ Watch out, a new hero is coming to town! 🦸🏻*♂️ In French "Picot" means pimples. Today I'm showing you a special blade, the "Archer" grip. It allows a better grip and above all a better orientation of the racket which favors the blocks at the table but also the topspins. Combi blade - Archer...

Ooh okay I see! No problem 😂 I think it’s an optical illusion because I use the same template for all blades and depending on the pictures it looks different. When I put rubbers on it the width is between 28/29mm. The length is around 24mm. So it’s not too big I thing. But don’t forget, they...

Hello, I didn’t really understand your message. You advise me to adjust the shape of the blade? If yes, I don’t understand why.

Here is "Earth" 🌏 A stiff but also dynamic blade. Designed for the player who prefers mid-range topspin with maximum spin. "Earth" provides the speed of a 7-ply offensive blade but keeps the feeling of a 5-ply. Spruce/Spruce/Ayous/Spruce/Spruce - Off/Off+ - 90g - 6.10mm - 157x150mm - 1300Hz

To my mind, the maximum can be 11mm because 10,5mm are around 100/107g . Each millimeter adds between 4g and 7g so 11mm can weight up to 114g. So I think that 12/13/14mm… are not playable Bea cause of the heavy weight and high stiffness. Also it I think that it will be not comfortable to play with.

Of course 7mm is more susceptible to break. But if the player take care of it there should be no problem
  12. Fs : 1-plh Kiso Hinoki Blades

Hello, I’ve never seen a Kiso Hinoki blade which is less than 7mm so I think it’s the minimum required to be playable. It would be interesting to do a test but given its rarity I prefer to avoid this idea😂

Personally I don’t think that the warping is the most likely to happen but rather the breakage of the blade. It’s a precious and fragile wood but if you pay attention to it there should be no problem. Also for the speed it depend if you tried 10mm or 9mm. If you tried 10mm, you can try 8,5mm...

Hello, I totally understand this, but don’t forget that there is a full customisation service. So if 9/10mm is too thick we can lower it😉 It’s not common but I already saw 7mm Kiso Hinoki blades.

I think you are wrong in your reasoning. There a 5 type of trees in the Kiso valley: • Sawara / chamaecyparis pisifera : Also known as false cypress • Nezuko / Thuja standishii : A type of Thuja • Asuhi / Thujopsis dolabrata : Another type of Thuja • Koya Maki / Pinus Pinea : A type of...

This tree was cut for temples, it’s religious and it symbolises many things for Japanese people. It’s one of the only reason that still pelts the felling of these trees. As I said I bought these planks to a craftsman who restored a temple. I don’t have thousands of cubic meters, only 9 planks...

Sorry to tell you that but it's not completely true. Kiso Hinoki is one type of chamaecyparis tree. But all chamaecyparis trees are not Kiso Hinoki. Also 3 of the 5 trees in the kiso valley are not chamaecyparis, and only one chamaecyparis obtusa (hinoki) People call all the cypresses and...

There is a protection plan against excessive felling of Kiso Hinoki trees. In 10 years, the protection plan will be complete and it will be prohibited to cut an Hinoki from Kiso. From this moment it will be necessary to wait at least 250 years before being able to cut and use it again. I...

As I said it’s Hinoki, not sawara, asuhi, koya maki or nezuko
