Is there any way that you can make a rubber grippy again, after it lost grip and tackiness after being osxidised?

  3. Spectol S1 vs Yinhe Pluto

So you know if there is a close alternative to the Spectol from one of the Chinese brands on AliExpress? I was going to buy a spectol anyways, but might as well try that route. Dead sponge sounds good to me.
  4. WTT Star Contender Bangkok 2024 July 2-7

Does Miwa need to retire? She had her chance, Now it's time to give place for the younger generation... Jokes aside, Hashimoto played really well and deserved the win. From what I have seen in the last 1.5 sets, Miwa tried to out-push and out-smash her but she returned well and took her...
  5. Spectol S1 vs Yinhe Pluto

How do these 2 compare? In 1.5 /1.6 mm respectively. How different are they in their characteristics. Would appreciate if someone who played with both, could give his opinion. The playstlye would be similar to Muramatsu and Sun Yang. How is pushing and chopping?
  6. Chinese Blade for BD 39 + Yinhe Moon 12

I would add Fextra 5, under $15. Used it to assemble a racket for a clubmate. With only Chinese Aliexpress Stuff for under $50 and it is a great racket. Thick and comfortable FL handle. Yinhe Pro 05 I can attest for. It has a great handle but it had no "low gears", at least in my experience...
  7. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Hi Everyone, I recently got myself my newest premium racket ( Stiga XX + 2x Battle 3), which I am really happy with. But there is a problem, which the racket cant cover up for. Which makes me think I might end up not using it. - To state it upfront: My offense is really strong. So are my...
  8. Rubber for Chopper's Forehand

My forehand rubber on my chopping setup is Loki Arthur China. I use it to chop on FH and regularly twiddle to use it on both sides when I think it is a good situation for it compared to the pips. It has exceptional spin, especially on a slower and less heavy setup. Both of my training...
  9. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Agreed. For me it's the same situation. Rubber looks like it's really high quality. Also, it didn't curl or smell at all. Once the glue I ordered arrives, I'll be able to test it out. Can anyone compare it to other rubbers of that category?
  10. What rubbers have the strongest reaction to booster?

Apart from the "strong" reaction, longevity / durability of the boosting effect would also be interesting to note. Which of the rubbers keep their boosting effect for the longest time? And how fast is their drop-off once it starts. Its hard to "objectively" notice as it progresses more...
  11. Have you "successfully" learned Ma Long's Forehand technique?

I have a list of like 20 different things I plan to improve, lol. And I generally trust my own judgement more, especially in this case. The last thing I want is even more advice at my current stage. All I need right now is practice, practice and practice.
  12. Have you "successfully" learned Ma Long's Forehand technique?

Why are you obsessed with seeing me play? :ROFLMAO: At no point did I say I was a "good" Player or had good technique.
  13. Friendship 729 battle 3

I had 4 Battle 3 rubbers so far. In 38, 39 and 40 degrees. All were relatively sticky, especially in the beginning.
  14. Have you "successfully" learned Ma Long's Forehand technique?

To answer some of the questions: I am no where near Ma Longs technique. And I don't claim to be. I was simply curious if anyone had reasonably achieved it. Which, in hindsight, probably doesnt lead to anywhere here on. Sharing my footage is pointless. The only footage I have is with other...
  15. Friendship 729 battle 3

My thoughts about the setup after 1.5 training sessions: It's great, but I still need to get used to it. Feeling and touch are awesome. Low to medium impact shots are significantly slower and more controlled, which was one of my struggles before, especially blocks and soft counters. Prior to...
  16. Have you "successfully" learned Ma Long's Forehand technique?

I am aware of that. What I consider more "special" about his forehand technique is that the body stays relatively "relaxed" throughout the movement. Xu Xin's technique is similar in that regard. Ovtcharov or Zhang Jike have more "forced" and tensioned movements, which puts more load on the...
  17. Have you "successfully" learned Ma Long's Forehand technique?

Hi everyone, Ma Long's Forehand technique is probably the best in the world. And I would assume its the most famous and admired one in the entire Table Tennis Community. The last couple months, I have been working on improving my forehand. And Ma Long's technique has been the "goal" or rather...

  19. Reverse Pendelum Serve vs Hook Serve

Hook Serve is easier to learn and has a low entry-level. RP is harder to learn, but it starts with a medium entry-level. Once you can do a basic RP serve, it is easier to "scale" from that point on. Hook serve is harder to scale, but offers more in terms of effectiveness. Both are hard to...
