  1. Nittaku Accoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision FL Comparison

Did you ask for a specific weight of the blade? If it’s over 90g it’s going to be heavy. G1 already itself is a heavy rubber imo. Maybe try a lighter higher throw rubber. You changed 2 things at the same time instead of just one variable. So now you have to adjust. I find G1 on the all wood...
  2. Xiom 36.5 ALXi vs An Jaehyun TMXi PRO

Until someone who has played both replies, you can get a good idea between the two from TTgearlabs reviews. They reviewed the regular TMXi however. TTgearlab ALXi review TTgearlab TMXi review
  3. LF: ANY Stiga carbonado

Why did they discontinue this series? It seemed like one of their best lines.
  4. Xiom Hugo SAL and 36.5 Deep Impact ALX

Im seriously looking at the ALXi now. Seems like a better transition, but that’s still a few ways out for me. The only thing making me hesitant is the TMXi being on sale on TT11 for a lot cheaper than the ALXi, but I know it’s stiffer, faster, and less dwell than anything I would need lol.
  5. Xiom Hugo SAL and 36.5 Deep Impact ALX

Thanks for the in depth response. Reading TTgearlabs HAL review I was in between these two blades, HAL & ALXi and your reasoning is exactly like theirs in that the ALXi would feel like a more natural transition just with a bit more speed. So it def makes sense, and I’ve been confusing myself...
  6. Xiom Hugo SAL and 36.5 Deep Impact ALX

Can you compare the HAL to the TB ZLF you had before it? These are the 2 blades Im considering as "upgrades" from all-wood as I don't feel like I'll ever need carbon.
  7. FS: Petr Korbel JP ST + Rozena

Perfect developing player setup or training bat. Japan version of Butterfly Petr Korbel straight handle. Listed as 86g on box, but 85g on my scale Butterfly Rozena rubbers on both sides, Black 1.9mm & Red 1.7mm Both blade & rubbers have aprox 20 hrs of play so still fairly new. Asking $80...

  9. New Xiom blades?

Was literally just looking at the spec differences between the HAL & Hugo TMX Pro. Seems like his new blade will be a lot faster than his previous ones. Which leads me to believe I need to buy a HAL before they’re all gone, because it seems like the perfect step-up from an all-wood blade for me...
  10. San Francisco looking for training partner.

Stiga Inspira Plus is the alternative you desire.
  11. Xiom Blades with the best vibration / feedback

I read TTgearlabs Hugo HAL Review earlier and it really piqued my interest. Seems like a great step up from 5ply blades, yet similar to 7ply wood blades. Maybe even a better “all-wood Viscaria” than a Falcima. The next option would be 36.5 ALXi, but it doesn’t seem hugely different from other...
  12. Why do I suck at Table Tennis?

Is there a reason you chose penhold over shakehand? Have you ever tried shakehand extensively? Sounds like your technique is your roadblock, but we haven’t seen how you play. PS, I suck too.
  13. What materials or compositions give the feeling of holding the ball?

Quick question, is tung similar or related to any other wood? It seems to be only used in Nittaku’s Acoustic and Im curious why it isn’t more popular.
  14. Can You Help me Choose a New Setup: Blade and Rubbers for Under €200

Yasaka Extra Offensive, and keep the change from your $200 budget for a coach.
  15. Composition of Cybershape Wood

Im not sure bruv. If the core is in fact kiri, I don’t believe they ever used it in their previous blades till recently innit. Sounds like you might be looking for an Acoustic tho.
  16. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Im kind of a new spectator to the sport, but I had no idea there was so much drama involved 😂.
