There will be some variance but I am thinking if I hit say a few topspin with zyre and then repeat it with dignics 09c then on an average we should get some objective data. If this works then I can ask other players to do the same and then we get some valid numbers thinking of something like this

Did a follow-up set of photos after cleaning the same rubber from the earlier post. This time, you can clearly see how the surface looks without as much dust as earlier- the middle area still shows wear, but the texture is more even and the small dust spots are lesser.

Took a few photos of a used rubber today. From far and when zoomed in, you can see the dust spots and the worn-out part of the rubber in the middle, compared to the edges. Planning to do another set of photos after cleaning to see how much difference it actually makes in texture and appearance.

Interesting idea , I don't know about airtag features but it is a bit expensive, the target price I am looking us around USD 20 for this
