  1. Improving Third Ball Play After Service in Table Tennis

lol , you are the one moving goalposts. you have not shown anything that you claim. in the first post you claim you have followed the science and came up with some unbacked opinion, but don't show anything what you have done. I have shown enough things I have done in this thread where I have put...

If you had taken time going through the video , there are a reference to papers on table tennis. 3. Improving Third Ball Play After Service in Table Tennis

This is one of the common misconceptions , there are actual research papers on table tennis being presented at the ittf seminars. Just because you are not aware does not make it incomplete. If you go and spend some time learning about it, there are topics like interleaving practice, mixed or...

  6. Improving Third Ball Play After Service in Table Tennis

Signing off by saying we have completely different perscpectives, my last reply to you I have posted enough content on our channel on research based training, I generally do not like gatekeeping like it is only understandable by experience. The point of posting to TTD is to get different...
  7. Improving Third Ball Play After Service in Table Tennis

100 on the trot with full movement , wow even elite players take a break after a few, this attitude is focused more on quantity than quality in my opinion. The problems are personal for each player and there are different ways to train and I would prefer if coaches can back up their claim with...

  10. Improving Third Ball Play After Service in Table Tennis

Just to be clear, I did'nt claim that my attack is better than these two girls, I meant I can attack pretty well at the level I play in. I can actually can train like the elites, I have built a robot myself ;-). Here is my latest video of me practicing backhand topspin.
  11. Improving Third Ball Play After Service in Table Tennis

my attack is pretty good, I can do both forehand and backhand attack. The drill you suggested is not good enough for me personally, what I have seen is that doing these kind of drills there is no transition of the stroke so you get used to it pretty fast. In a rally it is easy for me. In a...

There is already a model that uses CNN to do a lot of analytics for table tennis. Take a look at this Github implementation of TTNet, it has not been updated but is easy to spin an aws gpu instance and fix the issues to train and start using it rather than doing it from scratch I have written a...
  16. Integrating ChatGPT with a Table tennis robot

Very interesting, for me it is the opposite, when I go to a club I find most people are unable to play drills with me as most of them have picked up the game without formal training, they are really good at games but cannot do drills. I find the quality of the robot practice really high...

  18. Integrating ChatGPT with a Table tennis robot

As a first we are converting voice instructions for drills and having it transform to be fed to the robot , our robot is run through a mobile app. This is no flex I feel that there are ways to integrate it with a robot, for example today when you want to go play for say half an hour , most...
  19. Integrating ChatGPT with a Table tennis robot

I actually know a little bit about AI :) and have already used the chatGPT to generate drills based out of voice commands . If you read the blog post I have linked others using it creatively and how I plan to use . I am planning on training the model on drills that can be used from the robot.
  20. Integrating ChatGPT with a Table tennis robot

I had actually trained a model to detect a ball when there was no AI hype so I have some basic knowledge. What I am looking at is that say you have 30 minutes to train and ask the AI to give you a training plan to say improve my forehand topspin, It might give you a few drills based on the training
