G1 is less bouncy than R7, but faster if hit harder. I like it on bh better than R7. It is a bit heavy tho so regular Glayzer may be a better fit. Hybrid MK may also be a valid option.
With Falcima being as fast or faster than some carbon blades one might not even ‘need’ one, but that depends on preference and feel, and also how far someone might play off the table I guess.
Japanese, never seen or touched a European Korbel.
Also unless I missed it, I don't see the thickness of Falcima's blade anywhere in the TTgearlab review. Does anyone know how thick or flexible it is?
Looking forward to your review, but mostly comparisons to other blades that are close enough for the average hobby player to afford lol. Also, sent you a message.
I’ve read that Z2 has a lower throw than G1 and therefore many people find it better for bh. G1 will be somewhat similar to the R7 you’re playing now so might be an easier transition.
You’ve also had an Stiga WMY right? Any comparison? I only ask because of past comparisons and it’s like a 3rd of the price lol.
Apologies, I was asking for a comparison to Golden Vis, as I thought you were receiving one too.
Non-pro TMXi has been $95 for a while now on TT11. Just have to wait for the price of the pro versions to drop. I wonder if Gewo made a W968 copy that pleases him…
I believe you also have/had an Inspira Plus as well right? With a lot of reviews saying they feel similar I’m excited to hear your review and possibly a comparison.
Theres like 4 different versions of 301 and correct me if Im wrong, but I believe they all have a koto outer layer which will play & feel different than a Korbel or Innerforce.
Some info in this comparison thread too
