it seems like the game in high levels has evolved to this always loop kind of thing.
I don't know how possible you see this in lower levels, I find it pretty hard to play like that, requires extreme training and a different mindset.
the mindset that no matter where the ball goes you will loop...
Hi guys,
I've got slow starter syndrome...meaning it usually takes me 15-30 minutes of play to warm up and hit my stride. Unfortunately that means often losing my first game or two.
I am wondering what your most effective warm up is to get you in the zone for game one.
Go for a quick run? Do...
I can help with this one. If you notice that pushing back long enables your opponent to topspin FH back your push it means that your opponent has a good forehand loop. Remove this long serve return from your strategy on this opponent. Either that or you can brush your push more, adding more spin...
Funny. I have just put on Rakza 7 soft on both sides. I just haven't used it in a match yet. Looking forward to testing it out.
Feels nice, light and balanced.
I'm going to re-post this article here. As a relatively new player it annoys me that along
with all of the new expenses of trying out blades/rubbers and equipment I now
have to deal with what looks like a cash money grab under the veil of
false excuses...
Hi guys,
What is your take on this article that says to always hit the face of the ball for topspin strokes? I've seen a lot of players contact the top parts of the ball especially some of the really brushy backhand strokes...
Muscle relaxants were just a bit of a haha just kidding. The last thing you'd want to do is not have full muscle control. One thing I've been doing though is on serve receive ready position I'll give my arm a loose shake just to remind myself to stay loose. It's a good technique because my serve...
Thanks for the replies guys. I've come across another bad technique in my forehand upon watching some video. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information online on the backswing portion of the FH stroke. My backswing is far too horizontal, high up and away from the body. I change my bat angle...
Hello all,
Has anyone come across some good information on how to keep your arm loose at all times?
In drills and training I can easily keep all of my strokes loose however when it comes to
a game situation and I let the body go on auto pilot I find my arm muscles way too
tense and flexed. Also...
Ha ha. Ok McEnroe is a bit extreme and his outbreaks are usually anger driven and not celebration. But right there you see that ZJK is being fined almost the amount of McEnroe's whole career.
I honestly didn't think they were made of breakable cardboard so it was a bit like 'wow' when they exploded. Destroying the arena's property in celebration - probably not the smartest thing to do. Too much of a punishment though. An apology and payment to replace the barriers is all that's...
I watched a few of Ding Ning's games and I have to say that the plastic ball doesn't seem to affect much at all. The speed on their shots was very fast and the super spinny loops still created errors for the opponent. I notice it when I use a plastic ball then switch to a normal one (celluloid...
