  1. Butterfly announces new Sping Sponge X

I know you're only messing, but that's probably a bad google translation job. The BTY english Facebook page has it as "Continuous research and development has borne fruit continuing our credo to create “things never seen before” and find “better rubber for players”. Table tennis will be more...
  2. Xiom ice cream blade

    Impossible to argue with that!
  3. Xiom ice cream blade

Ha! The real benefit of playing in a league of just one player is that I always use the same plastic ball each week. I highly recommend it!
  4. Xiom ice cream blade

    A. 25 years. B. A lot - too much to list. Blades include Viscaria, Acoustic, Clipper, and a selection of ITC, Nexy, Yinhe, Gewo. Rubbers include T05H, H3, R47, V42, Musa 3, Omega VII Pro and Asia, Hype KR, Battle 2. C. 41-50 D. Local league in UK with occasional tournament entry.
  5. Friendship Battle 2 Provincial

I recently got black sheets of Battle 2 - one Provincial 38 orange sponge and one Provincial 39 blue sponge. The orange sponged one is reasonably tacky (and plays OK), but the blue sponged one is much tackier (and plays awesome). It's always a bit of a mixed bag with 729 I guess.

  7. M202

4 out of 5 rating for M202 I picked up one of these from http://www.ttequipment.co.uk. I've seen these kicking around on some Chinese sites previously and was interested, so having a local supplier seemed like too good an opportunity to miss. It's part of Yinhe's Mars range of blades, and...
  8. Austrian Open 2018

Yup. No mercy was shown there.
  9. Austrian Open 2018

Ito in a spot of bother on table 4.
  10. Austrian Open 2018

Yeah, I couldn't believe that BH miss. That was the moment. A real sickener for her.
  11. Austrian Open 2018

Wow, what a match that was!
  12. Austrian Open 2018

Hashimoto and ZYL are having a full-scale battle. Final game.
  13. M201

    M201

The Yinhe M201 contains a newly developed Carbon combination by Yinhe known as High Polyethelene. Its high strength, light weight and toughness make it an ideal material for Table Tennis blades. The characteristics of strong impact resistance and good vibration absorption increases the chances...

Review by 'AndySmith' on item 'M202'

I picked up one of these from http://www.ttequipment.co.uk. I've seen these kicking around on some Chinese sites previously and was interested, so having a local supplier seemed like too good an opportunity to miss. It's part of Yinhe's Mars range of blades, and they all look interesting if...
  15. Li Sun: It's Time to Shift Our Thinking of Ito

If they can't find one, they'll make one.
  16. Butterfly Tenergy 05 Hard

Depends on how big the market is I guess. If 05 Hard is a massive hit I'm sure they'll consider it, but it's hard to say how popular it will be. 05 has always been the big seller for BTY, so an extra variant makes more sense for it than, say T25 which is far more unpopular. That said, a T64...
  17. Any opinions about andro rasanter series?(especialy durability and less effort play)

I can't be 100% sure (too many setup changes and I'm getting older by the day), but I don't think I ever used Rasanter on the Crest, so it's hard to say. The Crest is pretty soft though, so I personally wouldn't go softer than the 47 degree sponges on it. It would be a fairly fast setup I...
  18. Which poly ball should you choose?

NP mate. Joola had an early ball (the Super P, iirc) that looked like their rebadged DHS first-gen (like the optimum), and that was as bad as all chinese seamed balls were back then. Hopefully those days are behind us now and the awful balls are being left behind as we move forward. Just need...
  19. Which poly ball should you choose?

No, Joola Flash are seamless, and a later composition than Kingnik. They're a bit harder, less flighty than the original XSF seamless. Similar to Xiom and Yinhe S40+ seamless balls, a bit closer to ABS seamed in characteristics but different enough to be a pain. About the durability of...
  20. Which poly ball should you choose?

Not that I've seen yet. I've ordered some orange DHS from AliExpress, should hopefully be here in the next 2-3 decades.
