  1. Need advise for my backhand rubber (Currently Rakza Z)

You are welcome, I had also similar issue (short game good, topspins not good due to I need more power, more power breaks my form then failure, of course sometimes I could hit fast shots but not consistent) then switched to faster bh rubber, started play with less power, and got some training...
  2. Need advise for my backhand rubber (Currently Rakza Z)

There won’t be much difference with 2.0, yet h3 is another story. But as I understand, you are fine with short game like pushes etc, not happy with lifting backspin (topspin against vs heavy bs). So you need bit more softer and faster rubber, so you can lift up more easier. Not slower than...
  3. What is the meaning of CONTROL in a game?

Btw I didn’t say control is being passive or give any advice to OP. Just talked about subjective concept of control term. Let say a player can’t hit a topspin with consistency or a specific ball, hitting slower or harder is not control. If I would give advice about control, simply our first...
  4. What is the meaning of CONTROL in a game?

Still a pro can control while doing all fancy stuff. For me, Control is kind of opposite of aggression and risk. It could be in terms of speed, spin, placement, angle, timing position etc etc. An each shot can be more control oriented (safer) or more risky to execute (aggressive) or in between.
  5. What is the meaning of CONTROL in a game?

Of course, “Controlling ball” is a real observable action. If you can’t control ball, you will lose point, either in attack or defence or any passive return. A fundamental skill, Any tt player must have. Some are better, some are worse. I guess the control game mentioned is being less...
  6. What is the meaning of CONTROL in a game?

Control is a very abstract term. I haven’t heard control style, do you mean all-round? Because offensive and defensive are two well known styles. I think All round is a made-up word for styles, it basically means less aggressive offensive.
  7. Need advise for my backhand rubber (Currently Rakza Z)

I haven’t got why you are unhappy with rakza z max? 2.0 will be slower than current, so needs more power or better technique for decent quality.
  8. Heming Hu on Equipment

Yes, of course I said as perfective of hours. Even Ma Long’s training quality and some other player ranking 50th or so should not be the same. But I mean if a person plays 30 hours a week, 2 day rest, it means 5 hours per day. 5 hours training takes 7 hours with breaks, resting, eating etc...
  9. What brand of TT balls do you prefer?

For regular training: DHS D40+ 3 star (every group session, I lost one ball, so price is cheap, performance is good) My actual prefarance on trainings / Matches: DHS DJ40+ 3 star
  10. Transfer robot practice

It is normal that everyone plays better against to robot than a person. Like everyone plays better in training than match, so on. I’m just guessing, maybe you are out of position and wrong with timing against a player. That could be another thing. You can record in games too and compare...
  11. If you are a coach. What equipment would you recommend for beginners?

Wouldn't the opposite of blade choices be better? If I was a coach, if students have no money issue, I would recommend: Innerforce type blade (maybe long V light or innerforce ALC.S ) H3 on FH on strongers, d09c on youngers T05/FX on BH or Dignics etc So they would be less likely to get EJ...
  12. Amazing match to watch

Yes, It looks like Bricks games from banners behind.
  13. Amazing match to watch

Besides the match itself, this collapsable seat-rows are also interesting 🤔
  14. Describe your very first feeling after playing with Tenergy

Apart from speed, spin, control topics, tenergy felt the closest as feeling and sound as speed glue back than. As like same short game reasons with majority, I've give up using. Years later I've tried again, still it's a different thing. (especially dead like hybrids)
  15. Odd number at the venue/table - what are some exercises?

Agree, if multiball is not the case, Block -> attack -> rest shifts can be performed by 3ppl. If venue is big enough, let say 4 pair in game 1 pair resting, shifting by 5-10 mins. But all require an authority or willingness :D
  16. Heming Hu on Equipment

30 hours per week is almost pro level training 😅 (excluding benching, hanging at club bar) Of course pro’s should be doing some more training off the table like fitness, tactic etc.
  17. Heming Hu on Equipment

+1, agree for my case: I've started primo carbon + speed glued bryce + hurricane back than, It was good while I was getting regular training, then after break, I've started again at new club. I and other people thought my equipment was very fast so I'm making mistakes. I've slowed down until...
  18. Heming Hu on Equipment

I think slower, less spiny rubbers honing attacking skills by more user effort, making easier defend with more toleration, which may dull defensive skills by laziness. Faster, more spiny rubbers may help in attack, hinder attack development by hesitation or automatic spin/speed. At same...
  19. World's Longest Table Tennis Rally 2024 | Attempt
