  1. Why do you still use Tenergy 05?

I used and replaced both. The Fastarc G1 probably edges out a little bit in terms of MAINTAINING original playing characteristics for longer, but in actual practice, I actually feel T05 beats it, because T05 starts off a lot more dynamic (catapult and spin). Because of it's higher dynamics when...
  2. Why do you still use Tenergy 05?

Performance wise there are probably many other rubbers that match or outperform it, but what makes the Tenergies (T05) special is the clicking sound and feel of the spring sponge that's pretty unique. I guess lots of people stay with that rubber due to the unique feel it gives.
  3. Compare rubber H3 and Jupiter 3

Cool. How do you compare the Big Dipper V H38's catapult to tensor rubbers like Rozena or Vega X? Rozena is my favourite backhand rubber of all time, once you go spring sponge you cannot go back
  4. Compare rubber H3 and Jupiter 3

Big Dipper is less of a chinese traditional rubber, more of a true hybrid. To me this is the better choice for backhand because my forehand is wide-stroke but my backhand prefer short-stroke
  5. Compare rubber H3 and Jupiter 3

From what I remember (I sold my H3) I felt that the Yinhe is a little lighter than the H3, but I didn't weigh the rubbers. But Chinese rubbers have lots of variance due to questionable QC, so no fair warning on their weights. However QC wise I find Yinhe rubbers to be slightly better than DHS...
  6. Compare rubber H3 and Jupiter 3

I would guess that if OP also boosted the Jupiter 3, it's throw and arc would be medium to medium-high as well. The softer hardness at 37 may also increase arc height. But I could be wrong.
  7. Yinhe rubber for beginner?

For absolute beginner - Yinhe Mercury 2 Soft For early intermediate - Yinhe Mercury 2 Medium if you like tacky, Yinhe Moon Speed / Moon 12 Blue if you don't want tacky For mid-advanced intermediate - Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia H39 or H40. If you don't want tacky, look for ESN tensors I could see an...
  8. Compare rubber H3 and Jupiter 3

Blade : Nittaku Septear (7 ply Kiso Hinoki all wood) I used both for quite a while on this blade but both unboosted. I played the Hurricane 3 H40 unboosted on forehand and felt it was unplayable unboosted. The Hurricane 3 H37 unboosted felt mushy on forehand and felt decent for backhand. But I...
  9. Post your latest EJ purchase

The EJ purchase I swear is my last (that's what we EJs say everytime) Nittaku Miyabi 1 ply Kiso Hinoki shakehand blade. My first 1 ply Hinoki wood. Always wondered how a one ply thick Hinoki blade would feel. I've always loved the feeling of softer woods that have lower, musical pitch...
  10. Glayzer

Review by 'dprsspins' on item 'Glayzer'

I love linear rubbers, so this rubber is a good one for me. It does it's job well without high catapult. It's quite a hard rubber, so it can go fast as long as you hit through it. It can also play short, chop and spin pretty well. It is balanced, but it does nothing exceptionally well, and it's...

  12. Dimitrij Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC

Review by 'dprsspins' on item 'Dimitrij Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC'

This blade is to me the Innerforce ALC improved. It is a little heavy so that might be a negative for some but it increases its overall power. It's speed is pretty close to outer carbons but has the control and dwell of inner carbons and even comparable to wood blades. It's soft outer limba...
  13. G-1

Review by 'dprsspins' on item 'G-1'

This is the rubber with the best balance between usable catapult and linearity. This rubber does almost everything well, from looping to short work, from flat smashing to chopping. I have been on the market searching high and low for rubbers with not too extreme catapult, but not dead either...
  14. Inner and Outer Carbon Blade Alternatives

Give SWORD VSea Carbon a try. Super stable blade with large sweet spot. I tested it and compared it with my Dima Innerforce and find it just slightly slower, so it might sit quite well within the speed of the standard Innerforce ALC.
  15. Post your latest EJ purchase

Nittaku Factive rubber for backhand. I already have a decent collection of good backhand rubbers lying around, Vega X, Rozena, Vega Korea, Glayzer, Moon 12 Blue, but when I fell in love with the feel of Nittaku Fastarc G-1 on forehand, I desperately wanted to try it's slower little brother, the...
  16. Suggestions for Genuine Budget Carbon Blades (ALC/ZLC Alternatives)?

If you want an outer carbon blade : Yinhe Pro 01. I had one and love it, now my spare blade when I want to have more speed. Viscaria clone, tbh it doesnt replicate the 'feel' or 'feedback' of a Viscaria, but definitely replicates its performance. I feel that the Yinhe has more dwell and is more...
