  1. New Blade Journey and Jinshi KLC

I do believe that BS H3 is kinda hard to judge on blade out of all the rubbers out there. I quite like H3 feel on my Jinshi. I gotta agree on that you can't expect the top tier speed and spin on this blade. It is faster than Hinata H2 and I prefer the control and feedback over the speed. But...
  2. ZQH 90 alternative with a bigger FL handle?

Is it just me or do you guys get different thickness of handles for the exact same blades as well? I've always wondered about that. I normally let the merchant check as well if the handle is thick enough.
  3. Wang Chuqin loses to 14 year old!

What triggers me the most are actually the WCQ followers that make up excuses for him. On social media they are going on and on about how he is not used to the seamless ball or how the table is not high enough. Support him the right way, but don't start making up stuff for him. I mean all...
  4. How many layers of glue do you use?

I had the experience that no matter how many layers 3-4 with no. 15 would be fine as long as the layers are thin or spread out evenly. And if I put 2 thick layers the feeling is different and less engaging with the wood as you said above. I assume it has something to do how the glue dries and forms.
  5. Advice on my serves and everything else

The serve is really nice and clean. I'm not gonna recommend anything about your technique, since a lot of people will do so. The only thing I will say about the technique is your BH top spin. That's what we call a stiff arm over here. You need to learn to loosen up, gather strength and...
  6. The V-Grip

While playing table tennis you need to adjust your grip and position of you racket constantly. Easiest way to do so is with the gap between thumb and index finger, since there is more room and more ways to pressure the sides respectively. This is true for penhold and shakehand. The V-Grip just...
  7. Heming Hu on Equipment

Honestly there is barely anyone in the CNT now that doesn't have a rich background. Why is that the case? To not feed the rumors, but back in the days money could buy you favours. Be it more focus from a certain trainer, better training partner, being put in a certain string or even low priority...
  8. Tony's Table Tennis Agency - Pro League, Pro Training, Pro everything.

Nice match to watch. As you said he felt less dynamic compared to his first matches. However, Kojic should get a lot of credit, since he set the pace and removed a lot of speed that Chang might be used to. It is really hard to adjust in the beginning, so I was suprised that he did so well in...
  9. DHS 968 Thread

yea, without wrap is a huge nogo. The sealing sticker seemed to be removed without residue too. While you wait you should check if the weight and the handle number is correct too. In case someone switched the blades.
  10. Heming Hu on Equipment

That's the different mindset and education you receive from different cultures. The definition of hard work is just different. So is the standard. It starts at a very young age for chinese kids where you visibly see the competition around you. Be it playing table tennis to become a...
  11. Which Hurricane 3 version?

Well, the only thing that doesn't exist is commercial blue sponge.
  12. How do you coach players that have limited strokes?

Well, I'm gonna assume that this is just their own serve play, because there are so many options with receiving. If they lack the confidence in their looping ability on the backhand, the approach you are going for is correct. Tell them to mix up the serves with long serves as well to get the...
  13. [FS] - DHS Hurricane Long 3 + Butterfly Tenergy 05 + Butterfly Dignics 05 - $200

Should consider renewing the pictures and price 🤣
  14. San Francisco looking for training partner.

How is dan even an unit of measurement. He was called a hobby player too 🤣
  15. Pre- serve self cheering

Eh, only fans think about what other fans like and dislike. Then they start to think it should be force upon the player to make adjustments. Imo you can dislike it, but it shouldn't become a concern. Why should players care what fans thinks, if the routine gets him into right mental state.
  16. Post your latest EJ purchase

That's a monster of a racket. Now spray paint it!
  17. Big Dipper, Loki Arthur China experience.

That's what happened with mine. I boosted normal 2 layers on it and it had a cracking sound and was super fast. It was really hard to play slow loops with it because of the low throwangle. I played a tournament with it recently after 2month+ of boosting and it felt just right now. So yea, 1...
  18. New Blade Journey and Jinshi KLC

Well, it also takes more power to activate it than the KLC. So there are some requirement for that blade. Also apparently a lot of people said that the blade needs to settle in after certain time of play for it to feel good. That's why a lot of people give up on it after the initial test, but...
