  1. Yinhe or Sanwei Balls?

Interesting nice one thanks 👍. The Sanwei were used in the UK events quite a bit and found them good to use out of experience. Good to know there is another option for knocking. The butterfly R40 that are being used this season are actually not terrible after a fair few sessions. Was a bit...
  2. Advice for backhand rubber

Tricky one as K3 is a good solid rubber but isn't super long life agreed. I use it myself on backhand. The first honeymoon period is fantastic. Then around end of month 2 it's starting to show some signs and pickup issues definitely. Interested to read options myself!
  3. Yinhe or Sanwei Balls?

Personally the Sanwei balls are the ones I would go for. Played quite a few events with them in the UK. There's also the Blue boxed Sanwai HD. Both good solid choices.
  4. Please recommend long pips rubber for me!

Don't confuse visibility with credibility ....would be my reply when thinking about this two racket topic...
  5. Please recommend long pips rubber for me!

  6. Please recommend long pips rubber for me!

As long as its fun for you all good 😊 Good luck with it 🤞👍
  7. Please recommend long pips rubber for me!

If you aren't playing in competition and it's a knockabout/basement type laugh there's no issue of rules really. Just didn't want to see you invest time which could have been better spent on constructive training if you are playing competitions etc. I know the rules mention alot about the...
  8. Please recommend long pips rubber for me!

Without trying to rain on your parade blah.. .. Are 2 rackets actually legal in competition play?. If you are playing with your mates at the local club knockabout or basement type play sure... Its a laugh with 2 rackets. There's a fair few good umpires on here who can confirm before you invest...
  9. UK new season starting soon... Everyone ready ?

The season kicks off in about 6-8 weeks in the UK. Everyone ready for it? New teams, Leagues, Players etc. I see the TTD lads have grabbed a space in the UK BL Premier divsion!! Exciting stuff.
  10. I wanna play with the big boys!

lol ... Not offended really... It's called Dyslexia I've mentioned it before ...I'll try ...but thanks for bringing it to my attention.. again.. (y)
  11. I wanna play with the big boys!

If I'm not wrong reading this... Day 2 of switching equipment to a rubber that's more reactive. I haven't read the whole x posts btw yet. I see this a bit like going from hurricane to D05/fast ESN and making the reply my returns now are not as safe/good. If that makes sense.. Pips make the...
  12. I wanna play with the big boys!

Thats not what I said. You can't just slap on LP and expect easy returns etc without skill. Without skill you will get a pretty obvious return that's actually attackable.
  13. I wanna play with the big boys!

Understand its frustrating but the idea of slapping on some LP's and being about to easily block topspin and easy return serves is not totally true without any effort in a match situation. While development for inverted players is drilling the topspin, serve plus receive and working on the...
  14. I wanna play with the big boys!

Hey Gozo, You are progressing really well so no biggie on the loss.... Def don't beat yourself up about it. ...but I would say you are actually a noobie still against this style of LP play. It's not a negative it's just you haven't had the chance to get your teeth into this style and work it...
  15. I wanna play with the big boys!

Good explanation and put better than the post I just wrote before I read this! :)
  16. I wanna play with the big boys!

If the level is lower totally agree 1000% or if the player is used to playing against a similar style. 1+1=2 if they understand what's on the ball...but the times I've seen really quite strong technical players play without any understable game plan and try and just bludgeon the ball and wonder...
  17. I wanna play with the big boys!

Gozo.... Variation and awareness of... both incoming and outgoing spin and pace is a good place to start. Familiarise yourself with the effects then try combat them. Like any new skill it takes time to get good at and a different mindset maybe I would say. The more exposure you have to these...
