The Harimoto are Innerforce, so should be Limba outer ply. The LGY are Koto outer ply.

Considering some players may play with the same bat as the day before, and so will take it to their hotel, I can't see how that would change anything. Glue some rubbers in front of everyone at the end of practice. Go home and put the rubbers you want for the next day. Rince and repeat.

Why assume his coach is not competent? Do you know him?

If you disagree with you coach, why don't you ask him why he thinks you need that rubber? He knows you better than us. He has seen you play, and knows what you need to work on, what you can do well, etc.

For those using Genesis since it's been released, any info on durability?

I seal all my blades (and handles) with the revolution 3 sealant. Only a few drops are enough for a whole blade, so no noticeable difference in feeling either from the head, or the handle. 3-4 drops on each head face, 1-2 drops at most for each side of the handle.
