My take is that I find mostly people who look for technical improvement getting in "the zone" and not being something mystical. As "the zone" is mostly technical perfection due to mental calmness when someone isn't focusing on mistakes but on ergonomic natural movement.

Stiga Inspira ccf is a quality blade that feels good with hybrid rubbers, clubmate used my old Mantra pro both sides. Handle is slightly thick with Master and is very comfortable for long sessions. Speed feeling etc is like a regular koto innerforce alc blade.

Any type of wood has holes que to circulation of water etc when it was alive. Some are denser and other have less holes, this also a reason why blades have different weights. I once read that w985's have a "special" core that is handpicked with the least amount of these holes. Wouldn't know...
