  1. W968 alternative

Yes it does have top quality finish. Also the looks of the pro version only differs in the color of that metal plaque. Playing characteristics wise it has slightly more feel and dwell time.
  2. Nets !!!!

If it’s consistent to a degree then it’s a skill.
  3. W968 alternative

I thought about buying one about half a year ago, but decided not to.
  4. DHS HL5 and W968 catalogue description

    Very nice find
  5. W968 alternative

    Yasaka athletico
  6. W968 alternative

I own two numbered version w968 no1. And to my feel I think XIOM TMXi is a close choice, but you definitely need some getting used to. Yasaka Athletico resembles w968 more than TMXi , so I’d recommend you try that first, and it’s a lot cheaper than w968 and TMXi. Btw I have one like new in box...
  7. How are rubbers made?

    😂 Trees lol
  8. Possible new Butterfly rubber?

Seems legit , nothing from butterfly is too interesting though. The stiga WMY blade looks nice.
  9. Butterfly FZD ALC - first impressions.

Tried it first time this afternoon at the club, and I like it a lot. It actually feels rather similar to the XIOM TMXi, but I like the handle shape a lot more on the FZD ALC. I tried it with H3 BS boosted but wasn’t very satisfied with the feel, so I switch to Victas TD and TR again, now it...
  10. Butterfly FZD ALC - first impressions.

“Fish scale” doesn’t really make a difference, other than it might look cool, which by the way is covered by rubbers all the time. 🤣 Mine just arrived yesterday, and both sides have large amounts of this “fish scale” pattern.
  11. Butterfly FZD ALC - first impressions.

Mine has finally shipped, should arrive this Friday. 😁
  12. Andro Synteliac

The green fiber looks kinda like the ones used in Joola Freeze, which also was built in Korea I believe. The handle design looks pretty good, I like the green on black color theme of VCI.
  13. Glue for boosted rubbers

Butterfly FreeChack Pro II is pretty good, only one layer is needed for boosted rubbers to stick well, so even though it might be a little expensive, you might get more use out of one bottle. Also, it's really easy to remove the old glue too, no extra layers needed in my case.
  14. Hybrid rubbers how close to Tacky Chinese or Grippy ESN spring sponge?

Not really, you need to remember that the hardness manufacturers say is only for the sponge, not the combined hardness.
  15. Hybrid rubbers how close to Tacky Chinese or Grippy ESN spring sponge?

Just tried BlueGrip S1 tonight, much better than S2.
  16. Zigzag balls do exist ....

Nah, all you need is a none rotating ball, it’ll then zigzag due to the light weight of the ball and air resistance.
  17. Forehand contact point

Meant to reply the other day but forgot. I bought mine on TaoBao and shipped it to the states, at the time it was pretty cheap to do so, but I wouldn’t recommend doing that now, the shipping fee has increased a looooot 😂
  18. Forehand contact point

Not really, the rebound board is all about consistency on your part, so if you can hit say 200 in a roll, you’ll definitely be hitting on roughly the same position on your paddle.
