  1. improving slowly ,need a structured method in my training

The golden rule on TableTennisDaily is to provide a video. Please do so, so we can give more accurate and better advice. For me, quicker improvement requires a training partner who is willing to train with you regularly. Work on one goal/drill every 15 to 30 minutes or so. The goal has to be...
  2. Rebulding Fundamental strokes for my game play

If only I can win the match with One Loop. :) That would be one hell of a loop
  3. Rebulding Fundamental strokes for my game play

Sure, I can just walk to the Korean club. Let me try blocking your loops when you're there.
  4. Rebulding Fundamental strokes for my game play

Has anyone ever told you to pretend to do a salute (to the flag)? The movement isn't the same, but it is similar. This forces you to use your forearm. Another tip is to try to get your hand to your forehead. Don't hit your head with the paddle though. Still trying to read through this...
  5. Dealing with short, fairly high balls that appear half long

I understand. I just don't like it when internet threads become off-topic. Back to the topic: Raise your backswing and spin the ball forward.
  6. Less known great youtubers

Oh, is this Ben Nisbet's channel? I know him.
  7. Dealing with short, fairly high balls that appear half long

We should get past whatever personal business you have with Archo. We should just focus on answering his questions. Yes, your reasoning for the top of the bounce is correct. For me, the top of the bounce is usually the one-size-fits-all for attacking. Taking it late is the other option, but...
  8. Dealing with short, fairly high balls that appear half long

Well everyone has got to start somewhere. You start by trying. I would advise everyone who knows how to loop to simply trying to loop everything that isn't short and low. They need to become more familiar with the looping stroke and what they can do with it. My little brother isn't even 1400...
  9. Dealing with short, fairly high balls that appear half long

    Don't actually jump. It's just a loop
  10. Dealing with short, fairly high balls that appear half long

Jumping isn't good in table tennis, but yeah, you basically have to jump at the opportunity. It's not exactly off the bounce. Top of the bounce is the ideal. But you have the right idea. Get into position and go for it, with no hesitation.
  11. Dealing with short, fairly high balls that appear half long

It shouldn't feel like a flip. It's just a loop. To me, it's just like looping a bad no spin serve. Imagine you are looping a no spin serve. A slow one is fine. When you are more confident, you can add more speed. However, if you rely on the forearm for power, just make sure that your forearm...

It says, "More SPiN, More SPiN"
  13. Dealing with short, fairly high balls that appear half long

Short term advice: Do whatever you were going to do. If you were going to loop it, don't stop yourself. If you were going to flip, don't stop yourself. Just do your thing and move on. Long term advice: Loop it. Don't play it too late. Play the top of the bounce. You'd be surprised how useful...
  14. Any Rubber better than Tenergy?

Would you say that Bluefire M1 is like a cheaper tenergy 05? (I just want to save money) If you're wondering, my playstyle is: aggressive openers and mid-distance loops. I use tenergy 05 for my RPB.
  15. How many Hours have you been playing Table tennis?

I've played about 6000-7000 hours. It's not really about the hours. It's about how you spend those hours. Spending hours with the intent of having fun won't really do much. Spending hours with a goal in mind, for example, 'Today, I will make my backhand flip cross court faster', helps.
  16. How to use this forum

How do you change your status? For example, Abe Gold has a status of 'New Setup!' while you have 'Thanks for all the great feedback today in regards to TableTennisDaily'
  17. avoiding traps

Even though I kind of know why, I've always wondered why people are so obsessed with equipment. I would say that a majority of the threads here are about equipment. I've always been a person who has said "skill over equipment." If you lose to someone, get better. Refine your skill set or learn...
