  1. blade is too head-heavy for me - any tipps?

That's 1mm, not 1cm, by the way... a 158x151 cm blade would be massive! 🤣
  2. Boosted Hurricane on a Clipper Cybershape

Why would the stretching disrupt the surface stickiness? This is the first time I'm hearing that... and it also doesn't correspond to what i experienced in person. Simply stating it doesn't automatically make it true. Is there any physical or chemical principle, or other kind of evidence to...
  3. Boosted Hurricane on a Clipper Cybershape

Can you elaborate on how expanding/softening the sponge directly affects the tackiness of the topsheet? I fear I'm missing a few steps...
  4. Should Professional TT Players (Juniors and Seniors, Men and Women) Be Targets of Fan Abuse on Forums?

With all due respect, I think the topic is too wide and too narrow at the same time. Obviously, in the examples @NextLevel posted, I would prefer the second approach each time. But I also understand that, in the heat of the moment and depending on personal conditions (and other factors as well...
  5. TTDaily: Does the forum need Moderators who are Active on the Forum

25 years of service on the forum, you mean? 🤣
  6. The corrective power of satire (2).

Naaah, it's been a while already... I think I started calling him AIgor during the summer... That said, he might have met AI but his content hasn't changed one bit: still looks like the good old spam-bot with a few aesthetic tweaks! 😉
  7. Removing glue residue from topsheet

Or simply don't bother, since it's in an area that doesn't affect the playing performance 😜
  8. TTDaily: Does the forum need Moderators who are Active on the Forum

@Dan I wholeheartedly agree with this thread's intentions. In fact, I wanted to open the same thread myself. I think it's very telling that one of the most recurring themes/questions on the boards, lately, is "how to use the ignore function for a specific user"... Thank you @UpSideDownCarl for...
  9. Help me understand the massive diversity in price range of all wood 5 ply blafes

Again, Butterfly prices are a lot more reasonable in Japan. In fact, they are largely in line with other brands/manufacturers there... I think their high prices abroad have much more to do with their chosen distribution model than with the factors you mentioned.
  10. Help me understand the massive diversity in price range of all wood 5 ply blafes

I'd just like to add that a Korbel Japan, in Japan, costs the equivalent of around 30 euros... Pretty cheap if you ask me. I bought two for clubmates during my last trip there. I have no clue why it's so expensive elsewhere, seeing that it's not considered a premium product at all there.
  11. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

Thank you for the info! So he isn't changing much, just going for the standard model of similar composition (and maybe, as you cited, with a more compact head).
  12. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

Yes, and he was using one in London as well... This must be a recent development, as Butterfly still lists him as using a "Custom ALC Cpen".
  13. Thread about Japanese Players

I think you should revise the Harimoto vs. Lebrun scoreline 😉
  14. WTT London Star Contender - October 2025

Whatever the final result, these two are giving us a serious battle and a thoroughly enjoyable match!
  15. WTT London Star Contender - October 2025

Tieba users have no mercy. Tieba users take no prisoners. Tieba users spare no one! (Ancient Tieba users war chant)
  16. WTT London Star Contender - October 2025

Pray tell where, in that link of yours, Tony was saying that the Taiwanese youngsters would challenge the Chinese?
  17. The two greatest innovations to improve sport games to the better.

Of course not! Each player binds a hoop to their belts at their cross-over point!
  18. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Good performance by team Romania so far. Good hopes for their future as well. If they continue growing and find a suitable replacement for Ovidiu, they surely will be a force to reckon with for quite some time. I bet tomorrow's final is going to be more heated than expected...
  19. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

You and I have very different concepts about "being honest", it seems 😜
  20. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Wow, tieba users really have issues with everyone on planet earth, don't they?
