  1. had an interesting practise match today

Without seeing you play, I say keep your current setup. What you loose in speed, you gain in confidence. With that confidence you can hit and accelerate harder and get some real winners. I too play with emphasize on consistency and not on dangerous winners. I have been to the same situation as...
  2. Would this setup work?

It will be great. 👍 As others mentioned, buy only the blue sponge if you gonna boost it. Otherwise buy the provincial orange sponge 39. (You can of course boost that too)

Those shoes are probably good. But an extra insole could help you. I bought insoles to my daily shoes as well and changed my daily shoes from the “Stan Smith” type to sneakers for running. Those exercises are great, they felt great. But I didn’t have the patience to do them in the long run. The...

It’s called plantar fasciitis. I got plantar fasciitis one year after I started table tennis. I changed all my shoes. For table tennis I changed to a Yonex shoe with great cushioning and I bought an extra insole. I played table tennis 2-3 times a week during that period. That solved the problem...
  5. Rakza Z and Rakza Z Extra Hard vs Golden Tango PS and Golden Tango

I have played a lot with Rakza Z, but I have not played with Golden Tango. I can try to compare it to Dignics 09c which you are familiar with. I first played with it on forehand, the arc is great, at least as high as 09c. Great spin, easy to play with, but lacking the power that I wish for a...

Thanks for sharing. 🙏 Great video!
  7. Looking for a detailed difference between K3 and 09C?

I have played with both. You mentioned 18 months old Dignics 09c with about 80% speed and spin. That’s how I would describe a brand new Glayser 09c, it plays like an 18 month old Dignics 09c that gotten softer over time and lost some of its grip and speed. Great control and easy to play with...
  8. Looking for a detailed difference between K3 and 09C?

It’s similar, but it’s definitely not the same.
  9. Life expectancy of Tibhar K3?

Yes, cost is one reason. Another reason is that they notice a difference in performance after that period. And I don’t believe it’s because of poor maintenance…
  10. Looking for a detailed difference between K3 and 09C?

I think the answer lies in your question
  11. Life expectancy of Tibhar K3?

Nextlevel already answered your question. It’s not poor maintenance. I clean with a moist sponge and use protective foil after every training session. The Dignics 09c that I have on my blade now is 9 months old. I have bought a new 09c and will replace it in a week. It’s not destroyed, it’s...
  12. Life expectancy of Tibhar K3?

Both me and my friend are very aware of how to handle tacky rubbers. Other tacky rubbers and hybrids last longer for us. Dignics 09c is the main rubber I used since launch. It lasts about 6 months for me, the K3 didn’t last one month.
  13. Life expectancy of Tibhar K3?

My friends K3 lost its grip after only a few sessions.
  14. Best alternative to Stiga DNA Platinum M (47'5)

K3 is famous for bad durability though
  15. Best alternative to Stiga DNA Platinum M (47'5)

Yes I agree. The thicker top sheet is probably harder as well.
  16. Best alternative to Stiga DNA Platinum M (47'5)

Tenergy 05 could also be an option. Good durability, perhaps a bit more catapult then Platinum M
  17. Best alternative to Stiga DNA Platinum M (47'5)

If you want something with the same hardness and with better durability, then I can only think of Fastarc G-1. The biggest difference would be less catapult.
