I reffed him at a round of the French national championships qualifier before COVID and he was already showing great potential and attitude, I didn't even realize how young he was back then, I thought he was 2-3 years older lol. Does anybody know what blade and rubbers he's using now?

T19 was ok, felt a bit dead, I much prefer T05 and better yet Z2.

I don't think it needs it, it's 50 deg and feels like 45, while being very dynamic, fast and spinny. Maybe when it's wearing off.

Z2 is very grippy, much more than G-1, it also feels softer. Z2 is the first rubber to ever feel like Tenergy to me (I mean that!) but softer feeling and more forgiving, kind of in between Tenergy 05 and 05 FX in terms of hardness feel. It has that special thing Tenergy has that ESN has never...

Yes, I've gotten to try a lot of equipment over the years, accumulate a bunch of knowledge and preferences in veneers and thickness for blades, and also in the types of rubbers I like.

Found out from Stiga that the Cybershape Wood is 6.00mm thick. I'm guessing it feels like a Korbel. I would have preferred something closer to 5.7mm personally.

Tenergy 05 FX is dreamy on inner carbon blades! Also much less spin sensitive than the harder Tenergy 05.

The short answer is yes, very much so.

Hey Tony. R7 Soft is actually 40 deg, whereas T05 FX is around 43 deg. R7 soft is also much slower. This is why I mentioned Rakza X Soft which is 42.5 deg.

Rakza 7 is much harder and heavier than Tenergy 05 FX so it's not necessarily a good alternative. If I were you, I'd consider Andro Rasanter R45, Nittaku Fastarc S-1 or C-1, or Yasaka Rakza X Soft instead.
