  1. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 2.0 - Bug Report

Hi Dan, No - it’s just too fast. Here’s a recipe. Enable thread view in config. Navigate to (say) Eq / Top Blades Open (click) any blade listed Open (click) any review Expected: view of that review opens What happens; view of selected review appears - and disappears immediately.
  2. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 2.0 - Bug Report

With ‘Threaded View’ enabled, reviews in ‘Reviews‘ show briefly when clicked (in the thread pane), then dissappear.
  3. Dignics and its Effect on Sales of Tenergy and Rozena

I see it, but incidentally only. And isn’t the finger setting on the other (bh) side more relevant for the FH? That seems rather traditional.
  4. Primorac Carbon Restoration - SDC

I use a generic construction glue, that bonds strongly but with some elasticity.
  5. Butterfly Tenergy 19

    80 ≈ -05 + 05*19. Fixed in physicist bistro math mode!
  6. How to stop Someone buying to fast equipment

Sometimes you just have to let people make their own mistakes and choose their own learning path. Also, leave room for the imperfection, in principle, of your own judgement. You can also use any unforeseen benefits that might occur, such as being able to have a go yourself with a very...
  7. SDC Handmade Blades

I know my cats, trust me, and I’ve seen this one and stick with beautiful.
  8. SDC Handmade Blades

    Beautiful! (Blade and cat.)
  9. All+/Off- blades with Hinoki top veneers and inner/outer composition layers

As Hinoki inner blades go, I hold the Joola Rosskopf Emotion in high esteem.
  10. I prefer to watch ML & FZD for the 1000th time than any other TT players

Rumor had it that he gave all of 'm a run, and then pretty much held his own for quite a while. Back in the day there wasn't nearly as much footage. I've seen the pros train, early 80s, and some tournaments and competition games as well. That sucks, when we're trying to look through a mirror...
  11. I prefer to watch ML & FZD for the 1000th time than any other TT players

I definitely recall fh- and bh flicks, swoops, corkscrew chops and loops, and chopblocks in the 38mm area. Both Waldner and Persson had all that their arsenal. It was less used, though. Lower percentage stuff, I guess. But that doesn’t hold for the dead drop dropshot, usually executed with a...
  12. Most Requested Table Tennis Review Ever | Rakza 7

I'm sorry, but I disagree. I like both - but would prefer Rozena to R7. A larger power and spin envelope, without sacrificing much if anything.
  13. What is that one serve that you HATE

I have been in deep doo doo a couple of times by lefties using a halflong (2nd bounce at table edge) reverse pendulum serve, near the middle line, with varying and (for me) unreadable spin. Sometimes I won anyway, with a near 100% win rate in rallies I just had to get one in five or so serves...
  14. What football team do you support?

I somewhat support the local FC. They provide the young with sporting facilities and incentives. Other than that, watching that sport is about as riveting as watching grass grow. They rarely even manage to finish a single set, bailing out way before reaching 11! Poor show.
  15. Never Again themed remebrance (to forget rasism/discrimination)

I care, and deeply so, and hold such “I really don’t care, do you?” framings in deep contempt.
  16. Stiga new blades for 2021

Isn’t the Offensive Clasdic Carbon an inner layer carbon blade?
  17. thoughts on Fastarc G1

True. Yet for me, a slightly toned down T05 is a better T05. That’s not a matter of price at all. I don’t know at which level that tradeoff becomes a positive one, but am fairly certain it’s a rather high one. Ito Mima, iirc, uses G-1 on her FH, and I don’t think it lacks the pressure needed...
  18. Me playing and loosing sindrome

My old, still highly revered coach keeps hammering in his mantra: VPS (“vastheid, plaatsing, snelheid/spin”) - i.e. consistency, placement, shot quality. In that order. We all like and are drawn towards the big shots, the spectacular rallies. On all but the highest levels, everything hinges on...
