  1. Butterfly Zyre 03

...but using the Formula Donic protector sheets 👀 It's OK, I won't tell 🤫 Actually, these are my preferred sheets, too. They seem to stick the longest.
  2. How to play with a hard ball?

From the link you posted. I've not seen the white no-star ones, Amazon has the white with the "Advanced" label and 3* now. I use the orange ones in my robot and casual play. A lot of my [basement pong] friends like them over the Nittaku and DHS balls I've brought. They do seem spinnier, but I...
  3. Butterfly Zyre 03

Translation: "A Gozo does not play without displaying total fealty to his master." 😂
  4. Xiom Hugo Hal from a perspective of a Butterfly ALC User

I moved away from Vega Pro H, actually. It was a little harder than I generally like on BH, but if you're used to harder rubbers there it is otherwise great. I didn't try it on my FH but I did use Rakza Z on FH for a little while. It was good, it just made the racket heavier than I wanted. If...
  5. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

Fan is putting on an absolute masterclass right now. G4 should've been 11-1 but he gave up the kill and got snaked (FZD's weakness revealed?!? 😱😱😱😂) LSD looks like a junior league player out here. ...and by the time I finished typing this, it was over 😳
  6. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

I went to see the Blazers play at home for the first time last night and despite a good start by Kayama Yu and an outstanding doubles performance, the other singles matches were pretty shaky and they also got manhandled in the Golden Game for a pretty decisive loss 😔. Better luck tonight. The...
  7. What glue do i get

I started with Revolution No.3 medium and have to agree it's a good starter glue due to its easy spreadability and ease of removing from your blade. From the sponge...not as much. (I've heard the original formula is better but I've only used the odor-free formulation.) Now I use DHS No.15. I...
  8. First time with H3N Rubber coming from d09c - How to boost and what to expect?

I also boost on top of the factory or one glue layer. It may be placebo but I think it helps prevent booster from contacting the topsheet and causing separation bubbles. Then another 1-2 layers of glue. (1 if I'm just experimenting/expect to peel it off in the near future; 2 if I plan to keep...

  11. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

I'll be at the Chicago Wind vs Atlanta Blazers match on Friday. 🏓💥🏓 I'll try to get some footage.
  12. Any blades still in production similar to Xiom Hugo HAL or Butterfly Moonbeam?

My HAL FL handle is 101mm, the same as my Joola Rossi Emotion FL and Stuor Professional Long 5 in ST. If anything I remember my Viscaria feeling shorter, but I sold it so I can't confirm. The HAL FL handle is still on the narrow side (in my opinion). I wish manufacturers would offer blades in...
  13. Aliexpress Singles Day 2025

Bought a Loki Kirin K5 today for no reason other than it was <$12 and the structure sounds interesting. Also got Stiga Mantra Pro M and Moon 12 Blue to test on the BH of my HAL and a 6-pack of the new recycled DHS balls (RS40+). The only thing that didn't feel like a deal was the DHS No.15...
  14. New Cybershape from STIGA

I've never tried 7-ply so I can only speak in generalizations but it seems to me 7-ply offers greater speed with similar feel to 5-ply since it's all wood. 7-ply can be faster than some carbon blades, but you don’t get the increased sweet spot and stability of carbon/fiber, which is why I think...
  15. New Cybershape from STIGA

The HAL isn't true carbon, it feels more like wood but with the enhanced sweet spot and stability of fiber reinforcement. I don't know if I would classify it as a learner's blade but it's probably a good compromise if you don’t want to buy a wood blade and then invest in a carbon/fiber blade...
  16. BH Alternatives to Rasanter R45

Ended up swapping my dead R45 for a lightly-used Vega Korea from my other racket and it is working nicely. I think I'll give O8 Euro a try when it wears out. Hopefully by then tt11 will have a sale...
  17. Logos/engravings/plastic on the handle - do you have use it BH or FH?

    It's a $25 blade...can't ask for too much lol
  18. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 - 4-9 NOV 2025

What complaints? I thought the new ball was fairly well-received.
  19. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

And 2/3 in sandals, no less! 😂👏👏👏
  20. I'm not looking for a unicorn, just a hinoki donkey that will do the job.

I've used the Stuor Hinoki Carbon and I can confidently say it doesn't really suit your play style. It's very direct, fast but not particularly spinny. Good short game tho (as does anything with a hinoki top ply).
