  1. XIOM OMEGA VII Asia

I had a session last night with O7A (Black, Max) on my usual blade with the intent of replacing R47 on my FH side. My first impression is that it's a great rubber. I'm a fan of O7P (and I'm surprised that so many people don't seem to like it), but O7A sorts out the one issue I had with O7P...
  2. XIOM OMEGA VII Asia

You can still get reasonable discounts on ESN rubbers if you dig deep enough. I've got a sheet of O7A on the way at the moment (£32), hoping to get it glued before a session this week. Haven't picked up a bat for quite a while. Much harder to get any discounts on Butterfly still. Official...

  5. Impact of the plastic ball on the game

This is absolutely vital with 40+. The number of times I've played over the top of the flight of the ball... The risk/reward calculations we're all used to making when selecting a shot have shifted quite a lot with plastic, and the variations in ball types shuffle that around somewhat each...

Here we go - another big update, and a great one for Orange ball fans. DHS - D40+ - Seamed - ORANGE This is a game-changer for Orange balls really. Once the D40+ is available in orange, all the re-labelled versions of the white D40+ will surely follow. And the D40+ is cheap!

  9. Xiom Vega Tour Review

Vega Tour seems strange to me. It doesn't feel physically hard if you poke it with your finger, but in play it feels very...stiff for want of a better word. Hard to describe really. I didn't like it.

  11. China Open 2018

It's all your fault. He's 7-2 up now but will probably lose this one as well because of your psychic powers. I stubbed my toe this morning. Was that you too?
  12. China Open 2018

3-1 now. You've put the mockers on him. Pitch playing well - staying right up at the table and being hyper aggressive. Smack!
  13. China Open 2018

R32 is looking amazing! Very hard to call most of the matches.
  14. Hong Kong Open 2018

Kid is super sharp. Really great forehand - anyone who can rip winners from Aruna's forehand is worth watching.

  18. Which poly ball should you choose?

Small ball update, although one which will case some minor forum annoyance when referring to balls in shorthand: Xushaofa G40+ - Plastic - Seamless - White So we now have two totally different G40+ balls. Great work guys.
