  1. Shibaev gone crazy LOL

Wow, aren't we judgmental. :P Daniel is Dalmatian, southern folk. :D These people are famous for their temperament, just look at Goran Ivanisevic, the only professional tennis player in history who had to forfeit a match for having broken all of his racquets. :D And they didn't call Mario Ancic...
  2. Shibaev gone crazy LOL

So how many yellow or red cards did you collect so far? :D
  3. Sexy...

    The topic is "Sexy", right?
  4. Sexy...

Probably, considering she (Alexandra Kosteniuk of Russia) holds a title of grandmaster. :) I'd let her win in table tennis, though. :D
  5. Sexy...

Blame that on your heterosexual brain. :)What if he played with HER, though?
  6. Michael Maze - Road to recovery 2014

    Nah... However... :D
  7. Fantastic Documentary about Waldner, Persson and Appelgren

Wow, those subtitles are indeed terrible... But try watching THIS with English captions on: :D pure gold!
  8. Michael Maze - Road to recovery 2014

Dude! Jesse Pinkman was a simple minded halfwit and a world class screwup. :D Also, Maze is like 5 inches taller than him.
  9. How to make table tennis more popular?

We have Andrej Gaćina, perhaps not on par with Primorac or Tamara Boroš, but world class none the less. The thing is, nobody on HRT gives a damn about table tennis, and they cannot afford to buy the rights to that many sporting events any more (with 3500 employees they're absurdly overstaffed...
  10. How to make table tennis more popular?

OK, I haven't been watching a lot of TV in the last few years, but still, I should have caught that one. BTW, I don't think HRT even mentioned the 2013 WTTC, except in the evening news.
  11. How to make table tennis more popular?

Huh? How the hell did I miss this? O.o
  12. Rest in peace Dorothy De Low!

Holy shit. :( Instead of being sad, I'll be happy for her reaching that age. Not that many people get to live past the 100 mark. I hope I'll still be enjoying table tennis when I get old. RIP
  13. How to make table tennis more popular?

Hm, that's weird. They're streaming it in 480p which is far better than what we're used to. See, it's pretty crisp. Stream is a bit choppy, though, but nothing too serious. Of course, but YouTube is the next best thing. HD is a great idea, but a bit unrealistic, considering its free...
  14. How to make table tennis more popular?

ITTF is streaming the 2013 Global Circuit finals on YouTube, and the quality is pretty great. I wish they streamed the World Tour like that. Also, streaming the matches on YouTube, instead of on their website makes it much more accessible to general audiences.
  15. Ask Liam Pitchford a question!

Hi Liam. When are you going to bulk up a bit? Do your friends ever compare you to Peter Crouch? :D No hard feelings, I hope. Oh, one more thing. We have this thread in which we brainstorm about the ways to make table tennis more popular and appealing to the masses. What would you do to...
  16. Sexy...

What is this I don't even
  17. How to make table tennis more popular?

Jesus Christ, look at that crowd! It's almost surreal! THAT'S what TT needs, and deserves!
  18. Japan National Championships 2014

There's a huge difference between ages 10 and 13. In those three years both your body and your mind go through significant changes (yes, I'm talking about puberty). Just sayin'. And I've seen Kanak Jha play, and I can't say I was all that impressed.
  19. How to make table tennis more popular?

The last time I've watched TT on TV was London 2012. I don't think Croatian TV had any table tennis broadcasts since then, not even when Tan Ruiwu made it to ETTC finale. And to think our national network used to do live braodcasts of the European Top 12 (back in the nineties, when Zoran...
  20. How to make table tennis more popular?

Good point. Also, I must say I don't like the camera angle that's become standard in the last decade or so. The camera is centered and in line with the middle line, so the player on the near side obstructs the ball way to often. Also, the depth perception is reduced too, and the arc that ball...
