This is just absurd.
TTLondon2012 thanks for the effort! You're the best!
Olympic Committee, you suck!

A fun fact: in Bulgaria( where I'm from :) ) the pimpled rubbers are called 'teeth'. So we play here not with long pips, but with long teeth.
and the question is:
Does he think that with the new balls he's counterattacks became easier to handle for the opponents?
I would say that there is an another option - not only short pips:
Why won't you give him a soft slow tacky cheap chinese rubber on the backhand? Some friendship or something like that(not a H3 national ;) ). Why? Because the tackiness helps dealing with spin a lot and when the rubber is tacky...
If you have enough patience you could clear the rubber from the glue but it's not fun at all :)
As an OX user I found out that not all water based glues are strong enough for gluing OX pimples. For example Revolution #3 wasn't strong enough for me and the Yasaka Norisuke san worked just fine...
It's really hard to answer your questions without seeing.. May be you have some video where your problems can be seen so we could try to help you?
I can say only one thing - about the slow and spinny loop. You need quick wrist action when chopping such loop. These are the best loops for a...
As I see it: the point when you are 17:16 up is as crucial as when you are 15:16. And as I understand - you've already played 7 times such points before this moment and took them using one certain tactics. So why change it? I don't see a reason. :)

The simplest thing is using a bucket or a cup or something like that placing it somewhere on the opposite side of the table and trying to make a topspin in it (my coach forced me to do for some time :) ).
Second is training around the net...
I would recommend Rakza 7 or 9 for rubbers. 9 is just a little faster with the same topsheet.. The X version is just.. I didn't like it - the topsheet is very soft (not for me). but I know a lot of players that like the X very much.
Ruth is just great! :)
But. I think for your defense to improve - you need a stronger opponent. As I see it, the situation is like this: the topspins are slow and not very powerfull so you don't have to really chop them with a long stroke (your stroke is short, you don't use your legs and body a...
No - it's free, but has some advertising.. Also if you try to watch from a mobile device you should load the Full version of the web page.. When the mobile version is opened it says you should pay :)
I would suggest Hurricane 3-50 soft. It has lots of control, softens after a while and the spin is good. For me it can be the closest actual approximation to Geospin Tacky (which is tacky, light, slow).
