Agree. Don't put pressure initially. When re-glue, you can put some pressures or pull it a bit to expand the rubber fitting the blade. IMO.

IMO, there's no such thing as "classic modern" rubbers. It's all about the adaptation to the "modern" 40+ plastic ball. Imagine fitting a current F1 engine into a classic F1 car and expecting it to compete under the latest FIA regulations! This configuration will never fit. You got to change...

Like mentioned .. I'm working on improving my techniques. I also mentioned having trouble with my backhand loop. Tensor non-tacky rubbers actually make it worse – the ball jumps off the racket almost immediately, and my backhand can't control it. Slower, tacky (and cheaper) rubbers solve this...

IDK. In my understanding, it's like not taking too many risks. Keeping the ball in, hoping the opponent makes a mistake, or waiting a clear opportunity to kill the ball.
