  1. Is Franziska Innerforce ZLC Blade more controllable than ALC blades?

Butterfly Franziska Innerforce ZLC is my favorite blade right now. Compared to Butterfly Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC, Franziska is a bit slow and a bit more control. I like that over Ovtacharov. I mean I like Ovtcharov is cheaper by quite a bit and I can see the speed appeal of Octacharov. slightly...
  2. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

When Butterfly Flextra on premade blades going bad....all of the sudden it becomes super anti!
  3. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

I actually agree with you on this one. Anti sponge feels like inverted sponge except it "dampens" the ball. But a block is a block. You just have to open your angle differently. It does feel inverted in some ways.
  4. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

Agree! Anti was not so popular during the 38mm celluloid ball era; long pips were much better back then. But with 40+mm plastic ball, I can see how anti can be quite useful. The Indian ladies already show how anti can work. It looks like Sabine is using the anti even more aggressively. I am...
  5. I want to try mid pips on BH. Can anyone give me some advice?

I have played medium pips before and I don't like it. Medium pips to me is worst of both short pips and long pips. However, some people on the forum really like medium pips so everyone is different. If long pips are harder to control for you, then I would suggest anti. Anti just has no spins...
  6. Koki Niwa has been referred to prosecutors

So Mizutani got into trouble. Then ZJK got into trouble. Now it is Koki Niwa?
  7. What's the best blade of fan zhendong series?

Got it. I have Y series (just bought them in 2024). Straight handle is 83g and anatomic handle is 87g. I just realized the shape of anatomic handle basically add a few grams to the set up! Thanks!
  8. What's the best blade of fan zhendong series?

Great! thank you for your feedback. Let me know how you like FZD ZLC. I will be curious to know your opinions. I have one ZJK ST handle and one ZJK AN handle. Not sure if I am ready to install rubbers on them or I should just keep them for collection (since they are now out of stock).
  9. What's the best blade of fan zhendong series?

Thanks for the post. Would you say ZJK Alc is your favorite among all three of them? Thanks!
  10. I Challenged A Table Tennis Pro Using His Phone

Lol, Anders must have boosted that phone. Did that phone require 2 or 3 layers of boosters? Is the booster Haifu commercial or Haifu National black (or better yet, Haifu National yellow)? Do we simply insert that booster in the layer between the phone and the screen protector? Or do we need to...
  11. Which Hurricane 3 version?

I had a sheet of blue sponge national H3 39 degree. I don't find it play that much different than the provincial blue sponge H3 39 degree that I usually use. I have a couple sheets of provincial H3 40 degree blue sponge that I want to install coming up. However, with the lack of quality...
  12. Table Tennis new years resolution

Putting Taiwanese players in Europe and putting European players in Taiwan sound like a great idea! The more training and the more exposure the better! Look forward to your announcement on Feb 1st.
  13. Pongfinity Sensei

I like Pongfinity. They are doing more to popularize table tennis than, cough cough, ITTF and WTT. I think that says a lot. I really have no problem with Pongfinity making money off their merch. I mean, we do live in a capitalist world, right? People should be able to spend money however they...
  14. New Equipment -- Budding EJ

Lol, I use Xiom Vega Europe to help me slow down a fast blade. Everyone has their favorites rubber to help them slow down a fast blade. My forehand on slow or fast blades remains H3. For my backhand, my rules are as followed: 1) All wood blade: I like G-1 on the backhand quite a bit. I have...
  15. Let's talk forehand topspin of these two pros

I think engaging the core is different for different people as well. My interpretation of the core means: abdominal muscle, waist, hip and legs pushing off the ground. I don't consider shoulder, forearm and wrist to be part of the core. So what that means, be totally relaxed, and then tighten...
  16. Let's talk forehand topspin of these two pros

Gozo, very good videos! Thank you for digging them up and share with us. Hirano played close to the table. Pavade played mid distance to the table. Hirano quick loop at the top of the bounce. Pavade clearly waited the ball to drop on the way down and focus on a larger stroke to put heavy spin...
  17. New Equipment -- Budding EJ

I think half of the people responding here have never played with either Sriver or Mark V before, and they are talking like they are experts. @Gozo Aruna I am not referring to you. You actually tried Flextra and stuck with it for a while. The last time I touched Flextra was like on a pre-made...
  18. Dignics and its Effect on Sales of Tenergy and Rozena

If you don't own your own business, it is harder to understand the concept. Let us just say the profit is 18% of the total sales (say $18 out of $100 in terms of sales is pure profit). So if the sales increase by 9% (i.e. go from $100 to $109 in total sales) while costs remain the same (kind of...
  19. Korean Lady youtuber Ggong Yang goofing off with An Jae Hyun

Cool video. The lady is probably about 2250-2350 in USATT range? An Jae Hyun just completely toyed with her. The top players are like at least five levels above her? Impressive. Japanese Vlogger, Ayano Yo, is in that range.
  20. Can I dissolve glue from rubber sponge? (ended)

The answer is, it depends. I agree that for the most part, it is impossible. I have used the tearmender method and that works well on Hurricane and Butterfly rubbers but does not work at all that well on ESN rubbers. That method is basically applying 2-3 thick layers of tearmender to the...
