  1. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

I think she still have a lot of room for improvement. She can achieve what Mladenovic can't achieve (i.e having a devastating forehand to finish everything). What she can improve is her ability with anti, and she already made a lot of progress in that department ! If she had the anti skill of...
  2. Difference between various friendship battle versions

Just bought this one, will see how it goes
  3. Xiom Vega China VM Review

Xiom Tau II would like to have a discussion with you guys. Anyone can make a comparison between Tau II and VC ? Tau II is the tackiest european rubber out there, and VC was released at the same time. Now there is Tau III as well but I don't know how to buy it (and I'm pretty pleased with my...
  4. Xiom new collection (2024)

If you have the occasion, try the ones made in Italy (made from italian jacquard), they are one level above the coolever which already so good. Even lighter and the quality is so high. I agree they are very pricey though. I wear them only for big occasions like tournaments.
  5. Xiom new collection (2025)

wow seems quite intriguing ! Was it super spinny on serve or nothing more than usual ? Why don't you try to boost it ? And about the stickiness is it sticky like Tau 2 or a true chinese rubber or more like esn rubbers that aren't sticky at all but still advertised as hybrid ?
  6. Hammond Z2 Special or Omega 8 Euro/Pro for Acoustic Inner?

Yes I tried, I would say it is hard but due to my technique I'm not able to put as much spin as on my forehand. Never tried C1
  7. Hammond Z2 Special or Omega 8 Euro/Pro for Acoustic Inner?

I found that Fastarc G1 is less reactive compared to the Hammond Z2 special. The best example is when I'm doing some passive blocks, the ball lends on the middle of the table instead of the end of the table like with the Z2S. Same goes for slow opening topspin against backspin.
  8. Hammond Z2 Special or Omega 8 Euro/Pro for Acoustic Inner?

G1 is more controlable thanks to being less bouncy on passive plays. Z2 special is far from being uncontrolable in the short game though.
  9. Hammond Z2 Special or Omega 8 Euro/Pro for Acoustic Inner?

I tried the G1 today, and I can't agree more, explosiveness of the Z2 special (I guess it would be the same with the normal Z2) is missing. With the Z2 special you can hammer down opponent topspin easily. With the G1 I didn't find the setup yet to do it consistantly.
  10. Hammond Z2 Special or Omega 8 Euro/Pro for Acoustic Inner?

I hope I will have more dwell time, with still having more or less the same amount of spin.
  11. Hammond Z2 Special or Omega 8 Euro/Pro for Acoustic Inner?

I'm playing with Z2 special and I never tried the normal version. It's a great rubber ! Not too reactive to incoming spin, spinny, powerful. Only con for me is sometimes I would like a bit more dwell time. I don't know how to describe it properly, it feels like despite the soft topsheet and the...
  12. Questions for Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Lee Sang Su

For LSS: Does he know when he will stop his international career ?
  13. Post your latest EJ purchase

When i was in Japan earlier this year, of course I went to a lot of table tennis store. And my conclusion were that Dignics series were cheap af, around 50€ but tenergy on the other hand it was like 50-60€ like wtf ?
  14. Luka Mladenovic EASILY beats Darko Jorgic - can you explain the power of AntiSpin?

Did Luka see our messages ? He twiddled so much against Chuang today and he won ! Won the important point with his inverted backhand wtf
  15. Luka Mladenovic EASILY beats Darko Jorgic - can you explain the power of AntiSpin?

Poor technique with his inverted normal rubber which I totally agree but it's another story with his frictionless anti spin.
  16. Luka Mladenovic EASILY beats Darko Jorgic - can you explain the power of AntiSpin?

Are you sure we are speaking of the same thing ? I agree that Luka technique with his inverted rubber on his backhand (so he has to twiddle) compared to other pro isn't good. But the technique with his frictionless anti is good imo. Low blocks, crazy spin reversal, lot of dampening. On the other...
  17. Luka Mladenovic EASILY beats Darko Jorgic - can you explain the power of AntiSpin?

I'm curious what would be a good technique with glanti from your perspective and if you have any example from players with that said technique. Good technique or not, it's working incredibly well for him.
  18. Luka Mladenovic EASILY beats Darko Jorgic - can you explain the power of AntiSpin?

It seems like you have low understanding of how physics work https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/sabine-winter-switches-to-antispin.36350/post-506229
  19. Luka Mladenovic EASILY beats Darko Jorgic - can you explain the power of AntiSpin?

Let's say he developped his own technique with the Glanti ? Come on he is the best glanti player why would he have a bad technique with glanti ? On the other hand his technique with the backside is bad compared to other pros (both on fh and bh)
