  1. Why it is hard for umpires to call hidden serves

Now this is not really a good example. The camera setup is much higher than what ML could actually see. Put that camera at eye level and I'm already more in agreement.
  2. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

Yes, the call was 9-9 but not on the scoreboard which read 8-10. That confused Simon. I had already written that the referee's left arm went up....
  3. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

I don't think I'm writing anything else. But originally, though, there was never 9-9 on the scoreboard. (first 8-10, then 9-9) A referee shouldn't just overrule himself either. Once the arm goes up, the point must be awarded in my opinion.
  4. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

People don't look properly anyway I guess and see other things in the meantime.🤣 Originally, the referee had awarded the point to Simon (her left arm goes up) but the electronic scoreboard then reported 8-9 > 10 for Mohamed.
  5. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

For the simple reason that a point must be allocated to either player. What you suggest you do in a garage or at a campsite but is not allowed in official competitions.
  6. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

I don't know why you would draw red or green, neither situation occurred. Red is even obviously not possible as you write yourself, so why draw it as an example. The point of contact right on the ball can perfectly hit the side of the table without hitting the edge since the ball falls from the...
  7. Yet another boosting topic on TTD (uniform boosting)

Again about boosting... I am still waiting in another topic about already boosting for an answer as to why I would boost. Or better, what could be the benefits of boosting? I always used to have some difficulties against LP and Anti rubbers but over the years learned to play against these ping...
  8. Got a racket from Anders Lind

Very nice that Anders is of his word.(y) I know others who don't send anything you've won...
  9. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

  10. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

No it is not clear. It is not because the ball hits the table that it is also edge. As far as I can see from that angle, that ball does not jump up at all but falls down from the side of the table (point of contact is on the right side of the ball). You can only speak of an edge ball if that...
  11. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

Movement of his racket, hand, arm and the curve of the ball shows that the ball hit the rim but, the ball in my opinion does not jump back up but falls down, there was slight forward effect in it. In my view, the ball did hit the side but since there was no upward movement of the ball, no touch...
  12. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

It is not allowed. You are playing ping pong? No table tennis?
  13. Andro treiber z or treiber fo s

  14. What’s the difference between these 4 Haifu boosters?

No idea, I have never used that in my life, nor would I know why.
  15. What’s the difference between these 4 Haifu boosters?

That's why I always play hard against LP and/or anti. :ROFLMAO: I have never used any of those.🙈
  16. Why do people say LP's should be banned?

For sure, definitely the better (acrobatic)garage-player! ;)
  17. Why do people say LP's should be banned?

Nightmares used to exist, when the special-LP still existed and it was allowed to play with 1 colour where the player could rotate his board. :D Those were nightmares then. Watching and listening carefully was the message. Now it's all much easier to play. You could argue that they favoured the...
  18. Which cleaner do you like?

Yes i know but i use it with a (car)chamois sheet.
  19. Why do people say LP's should be banned?

98% do it because they do not master their strokes. Those 2% are as Piligrim mentioned, because they like it but you can never know that before you have used them. But he apparently masters all strokes with inverted rubbers and with pips, so no problem. No idea here in Greece, I do see quite a...
  20. ITTF/WTT problems reported from players

Indeed, Darts absolutely cannot be compared in numbers although its popularity has increased greatly in recent years in the rest of Western Europe. Turns out, though, that when it is well (managed) you can reach a lot of people and pay players deftly and correctly. I am not (yet) that familiar...
