  1. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

I've been thinking between the Tenergy variants, T05,T19 and T80. I just don't know. I love the power from the V15, i just hate that I can't get it over the net sometimes.
  2. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

I feel so close to my staple BH rubber, the V15 is just lacking arc for me. Too many times where I contact the ball just a little off and I can't bite the ball without more power. I need something with similar speed but more bite/grip or higher throw.
  3. Do you play with equipment above your level?

So if ppl use very hard rubbers then it's suited for them? Kinda hard to generalise if one's equipment requires a higher skill level.
  4. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

After playing with V15 Extra for a month, I can say that it's plenty fast. Now my problem is the lack of a catapult effect from it. It also drops into the net too often for me. On forehand it's probably a great rubber but on backhand, I'm gonna need more give. It also ends up slipping sometimes...
  5. Tibhar MX-P alternative.

My setup adding the V>15 extra and using a hard Chinese forehand rubber is proof that it's pretty heavy.
  6. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

V15 extra, although they do have discounts for all models of V15.
  7. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

In light of the discounts, I'm gonna order a v15 and see how it goes.
  8. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

My local shop's having discounts on V15 for under 40 USD (~35 USD). They really making me want to buy one. Also selling hurricane 3 provincial blue sponge for ~40 USD as well
  9. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

Yep. D05 is also like a 50 degree rubber. It's got similar power but compared to 48 degree variants of ESN. It's faster on all accounts except for away from the table.
  10. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

Honestly I'm probably getting a T05, I've borrowed someone's racket with D05/T05 on Viscaria. I practiced with short pushes, punch, topspin, looping. They all went very deep for me or short for the pushes. If the feeling of playing with it feels the same as the ESN rubbers I've used in the past...
  11. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

Id prefer not to buy in bulk before I try out the rubber.
  12. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

May I ask why? Dignics and Tenergy in my club sells for under $80 USD (they have a discount). I don't think there are any rubbers that sell more than those two.
  13. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

First time hearing about TTNPP, they have mostly everything except the hammond and R48. So it's between V15, Bluestorm, Dynaryz, T05 as I've had my previous MX-P die on me very quickly. Non-boost MX-P felt terrible. Right now I'm leading more towards T05 as my club owns a butterfly shop or V15...
  14. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

What's the durability of these 2 (excluding MX-P), compared to Tenergy's. My whole group uses butterfly rubbers on at least one side and they last a while. 5-6 days a week training for 3 hours (not including competition). They usually replace every 3-4 months.
  15. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

After you listed all those rubbers, I just realised how many rubbers our country doesn't have available locally (at normal price). We only have the MXP, V15 and Bluestorm, (Nittaku is a figment of my country's imagination).
  16. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

My country sells most xiom products except 07P, it has tour and china but no europe or pro. They do sell the V15 at a normal price, I just don't know anyone in my group that uses/used victas before (they all use butterfly, donic, xiom, joola or a variety of chinese rubbers).
  17. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

I actually don't want to go any faster than the rhyzer pro 50 when the sponge is engaged. I'm looking for a softer rubber than 50 degrees because I can't create my own speed. If I play against someone with lower speed or spin then I often have an underpowered backhand. Also unfortunately in the...
  18. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

I just tried Tenergy 05 and 64 on backhand with viscaria. Can you guys compare T64 or T05 to O7P/V15. I can't really try those rubbers without buying them and I would like to avoid that to save money.
  19. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

I am currently proceeding on buying a sheet of T05 fx for my backhand. It suits the style I play and gives me enough control to manipulate the ball.
  20. Alternative to Gewo Hype XT Pro 50

I'm looking for a backhand rubber for close-mid distance. I also checked O7 pro and the reviews say its slow and that T64 is for mid-long distance. The Gewo rubber I've used is a somewhat high throw rubber and the ball doesn't land too deep. I'm looking for something like that but lands deeper.
