  1. Quality of DHS rubbers bought domestically in China vs Taobao vs AliExpress

Think here is the best place to drop some experience. TT equipment from aliexpress + DHS + big promotion = the worst quality control. Prov H3 OS 38 2.2 - measured hardness 56 degrees, sponge 2.05mm, 68.8g uncut with foil. Dents in the sponge, it is possible to be a commercial version, but cut...
  2. Anyone Know What Pips This Player Is Using?

Looking at the video, I see similarities with Ilius B 1.3mm on FH. The sponge is so hard and dead that it produces a sound like a gun with a silencer. Such an easy LP for offense.
  3. How to play against good close to the table players?

Play fast, long and spiny services. Your goal is table edge. When looping, try to change directions. A fast smash is a winning point if your opponent is near the table. Learn to do flicks and chikitas to underspin balls. That is a nightmare for every pusher. If you let them play their game, you...
  4. An exhibition of blades made by Ukrainian craftsmen

The blade look very well crafted. What is the composition, used woods and can you add side view?
  5. Beating the plateau at low intermediate level

Usually, easy rubber for me is easy rubber for my opponent. I will put Mark V, Musa, Marder 2 and 729 super soft in this category. Too sticky (TDE) and springy (T05, Vega Europe) are beyond my skills. But on a thinner sponge or hardness above 50 degrees, some tensors I can handle, on ALL speed...
  6. Post your latest EJ purchase

Yes, the beefy handle is so good. Main is 84g and 1620Hz. I am choping, looping and blocking, but not on Satoshi Aida level 😄. Bayed it just to feed the EJ demons. My current setups are slow in comparison - blades around 1200Hz. Masamune actual speed is all over the place, from All+ at light...
  7. new rubbers recomenndation on Harimoto Innerforce ALC

Stiga Mantra Pro is made in Japan, the same factory makes Hammond Z2 and some Nexy rubbers. The lower price can be explained by many factors that I am lazy to write down. The main point is that the rubber is good, not fake and without defects. I bayed Mantra Pro XH for under 25€ during the 11.11...
  8. new rubbers recomenndation on Harimoto Innerforce ALC

Stiga Mantra Pro H or HX - faster than G1, at an excellent price in aliexpress. Nuzn - if you need extra grip, and you are OK to change rubbers every 1–2 months.
  9. Whats the best and worst combos you’ve tried equipmentwise

980XX is slower and a bit more flexible than 980. Both of them are relatively stiff in the category of 5ply all wood blades. 980XX can be an update if you need more spin and control. I tried Degu 2 and various LP on the BH, but don't like the combination. For me, I worked better with 729 Super...
  10. Whats the best and worst combos you’ve tried equipmentwise

Best: Yinhe 980XX and H3 BS 39 on FH. Sword Razor and Pimple Slide 1.2mm on BH. Worst: Xiom Stradivarius and 2x Omega V DF - too fast, too springy. Yasaka Silver Line Carbon and 2x Mark V - too much vibrations. Stuor CNF and fake T05 on FH - just terrible.
  11. Spinniest Setup

Can you share numbers of RPM? Arc angles can depend on speed, not only on spin. My spiniest combo for services is TG3 BS 40 and Sword Razor, 9 layers all wood, a stiff blade with a ayous top. On a 3 ply hinoki wood H3 plays on steroides. Faster and kicking hard, but I dont think is spinier...
  12. Inverted player - Embarking on long pips journey with ALC Blade

Ilius B and S are LP with very hard and slow sponges. B is harder and has some reversal even with 1.3mm sponge. With 0.5mm will be lighter and with more reversal.
  13. Short/med pips similar to a worn out Bluegrip C1 (very hard sponge)

Dawei 388C-3 killer has a very hard sponge and is not gripy. But is far away from playing characteristics of inverted rubbers.
  14. WTT Champions Chongqing 2026 Presented by AITO (10 - 15 March 2026)

TT has become a sport for teens.
  15. assembling a racket

The AI answer for blade sealing is sufficient: Sealing a table tennis blade involves applying a thin protective layer—usually a specialized water-based lacquer or polyurethane—to the wood surface. This process is primarily done to protect the wood from damage during rubber changes. [1, 2, 3, 4]...
  16. assembling a racket

    1. Don't use speed glue. 2. Use water based glue DHS 15 or Suke 02. Thick and easy to remove. 3. Scalpel and tool knife have very good results, but you need practice to make a good cut without separating rubber from the blade. A more easy and forgiving way to cut is use of sharp scissors. The...

  18. Most hardest sponge with tackiest top sheet Chinese rubber in your experience

Victas TDE - 57 shore o, can lift the ball for 30 seconds. Softest topsheet with hard sponge. It needs to be boosted to be playable after the first 2-3 weeks. 52 degrees with 2 layers falco platinum. Fake Tenergy 05 black, sticky, can lift the ball for 20 seconds, 57 degrees shore o. Again, it...
  19. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

I would guess that your blade is not sealed. I glue my B3 purple from the second try - 1 layer on the blade, 2 layers on the rubber, DHS 15. Next time I will use sticky sheet.
