  1. Blue Storm series

Of course it sounds similar, both are made by ESN in Germany :) I don't even think Andro nor Donic do any real development, it's probably done by ESN and then Donic chooses one model they like with a blue sponge and Andro took another similar model and took a green sponge.
  2. Tomokazu Harimoto leads 10-0 and then this happened!

In Germany it's common too to make an easy mistake if you lead 10-0, but not everyone does it and no one would be angry. It's just a nice and humble gesture i think.
  3. andro Rasanter

It might be Tenergy price range but don't forget that those rubbers are always sold at a lower price. Only Butterfly rubbers sell for the original price usually.
  4. JTTAA version - Really worth the extra $$?

Depends on the blade I think. Some Butterfly blades like the Primorac Off- have differences between the Euro and the JP version. The handle for example is thicker as far a I remember on the Euro version and it is said to be of better quality.
  5. Going from classic rubber to Tenergy

What I remember about the Vega Pro was that I didn't like the topsheet that much, it could have been a bit more grippier. I think that's what is also easy with the Coppa since you can open really soft without using the sponge too much. I guess I will just have to try it out before the next...
  6. Going from classic rubber to Tenergy

Actually I used the Vega Pro years ago :) I really liked the short game and especially blocking, but I found that opening with looping against heavy backspin was not that easy with it as it is with the Coppa, so I didn't try it again after returning. Maybe the rubber was a bit too hard for me...
  7. Going from classic rubber to Tenergy

Right now I lose against Kreisliga players (they got 1500/1600 TTR here) but against 1400ers it's pretty close, I think with some more training that's where I will be, I'm far from being at 100% yet. Before my long break I sometimes won against now 1500ers and I think I got the potential of...
  8. Going from classic rubber to Tenergy

Hey there, I took a long break from table tennis and started playing again with my Waldner Senso Carbon and 2 x Donic Coppa max, the normal Coppa without any X or Gold or whatsoever. I really like the grippy topsheet and that I can loop slowly but really spinny and that it is not as bouncy as...
  9. Good blocking/smashing inverted rubbers (insensitive to spin sort)?

I used Xiom Vega Pro for a long time and I really liked blocking with it, but I'm in general a good blocker, so I don't know if it was just me. Felt really easy to do with it.
  10. Fan Zhendong uses Viscaria in China Open 2015

well it's an even better ad, when a player, who is sponsored by another company, is using your product anyway and people like us see that ;) he uses it because he thinks he plays better with it, not because he gets money for doing so. :)
  11. What handle type do you use?

I can only play with ST, everything else just feels weird :D
  12. Simon Gauzy and Shibaev Bust Up at Europe Top 16

and I think you could consider Gauzy's behaviour unfair in this case IF he knew that it hit the net post and still wanted the point... But I can't tell what he saw but I can understand that Shibaev was angry if he thought that way.
  13. Simon Gauzy and Shibaev Bust Up at Europe Top 16

no, that is wrong, the post belongs to the net. Only the table surface belongs to the table.
  14. Simon Gauzy and Shibaev Bust Up at Europe Top 16

it belongs to the net, ball must touch the table which it has not and surely Gauzy knows that?
  15. Simon Gauzy and Shibaev Bust Up at Europe Top 16

wasn't it obvious that the ball was out and Gauzy still wanted the point? Maybe that's why Shibaev was angry in the first place and didn't want to shake hands properly? Not sure what started it...

  17. Rubber warmer by Donic

regarding your sponge argument: only the topsheep has to be approved by ITTF, not the sponge itself.
  18. Rubber warmer by Donic

too bad this is forbidden according to ITTF rules "Rule 2.4.7: The covering material should be used as it has been authorised by the ITTF without any physical, chemical or other treatment, changing or modifying playing properties, friction, outlook, colour, structure, surface, etc." i really...
