Firstly, don't listen to these guys. Playing in jeans and a button down shirt is COOL as shit. Secondly, the net is amazing. the ball fits under it! So convenient! Most importantly, have fun, you'll improve in time. Stressing improvement can actually hinder how quickly you improve.

disagree. I think it's because you watch in about 60fps. in real life your eyes can track up to 250fps, so recordings seem slow and easy to see what's going on. it looks like it's going about 1/4th as fast as it is.

The spruce makes it FEEL softer, almost like it's holding the ball too long for my liking. but it also doesn't feel as much like a wood blade as the other innerforce series blades do. I think it's easier to do close to the table loops with the alc.s, but that's never been an issue in my game so...

For tenergy just use butterfly free chack or butterfly free chack 2. Butterfly won't create a glue that their best selling product can't use.

porous sponges prefer thicker right? that's why free chack is so thick and strong. and donic's blue contact (designed for the bluefire series) is so thick. if it's thinner and seeps into the sponge, I think this might actually cause more unevenness.

Imagine your sponge is very porous. So it has lots of little "holes" all over. A thinner glue would seep into the holes before drying, while a thicker one wouldn't.
