  1. Croatian player loses his sh#t

And here I thought everyone enjoyed playing choppers.
  2. Momentum In Game Discussion

I'm making this thread to discuss momentum during a set of games. I noticed that If I win the first two games of a set pretty handily (11-5ish or better on both) I tend to let up on the next game as a way of conserving energy for future games. This is a mistake, as once your opponent builds a...
  3. Are the quality of stiga products good or bad? (thinking of buying a blade)

Here's the thing about stiga. Good all wood blades, if you get a bad one email them and get a replacement. they have good feeling. BUT they also are assholes selling 80$ premade raquets at stores like Dicks Sporting Goods. These raquets are designed for the basement player who doesnt know any...
  4. 1st Generation black tag Timo Boll Spirit

serial number is in 3rd gen. the spacing of f and l is only a viscaria rule i believe. Regardless, the blade is amazing and will fetch quite a pretty penny. If you don't need money you should frame it or something.
  5. 1st Generation black tag Timo Boll Spirit

Beautiful blade. Quick question though, how can you tell it's first generation? the first 3 gen's have black tag.
  6. New Equipment 2016

Excited for the fx-s... Probably wont stick with it but never the less. Excited.
  7. Why do you boost?

I bought it. I've boosted before. It couldn't curl a hurricane rubber even after 4 layers. There was literally no effect.
  8. Why do you boost?

megaspin has falco, ttnpp has kailin but prettty sure the kailin oil is fake there.
  9. Why do you boost?

If you're going to boost don't just use a home made booster like wd40. actually buy some real table tennis booster like falco or kailin oil or something. If you don't like the effect of wd40 but arent sure if you'd like the effect of real booster then you'd have to boost a second time and you...
  10. Something to think about regarding technique

Good choice, when playing off the table jumping quickly to the push and then jumping back into position is the right mindset. I believe he would say this too.
  11. Tall table tennis players.

Couldn't agree more, when you're tall and can reach every ball it feels like you don't need to develop footwork. But I do believe once they get the footwork down it is a lot easier for them to execute it than other players.
  12. Something to think about regarding technique

=] I'm not saying you need to stop sticking to your guns, Good for you for doing so. When you know you're right don't let people sway you from your beliefs. I'm just saying I'm not the kind of person who is normally going to keep arguing with you. Are you married or in a relationship? sometime's...
  13. Tall table tennis players.

I've never seen this but it's very interesting, I'll surely share this with some friends. I get questions about if it's better to be tall or short quite a bit.
  14. Basic Table Tennis Terminology Questions

    1. What is bottoming out? For the longest time I thought it was when I made a stroke and the ball never dug far enough into the rubber to make contact with the wood, and thus the ball would just drop as it was never propelled. But recently someone told me it happens more with thinner rubbers...
  15. Why do you boost?

This is actually this only rubber I've ever used that once dead, I still would have rather not boosted in wait of replacement for my newer rubbers.
  16. Tall table tennis players.

Strength of Tall Players include: 1.Longer Reach 2.Easier to get more leverage for a higher quality shot. 3.Footwork is important but it is easier IN MY OPINION because it takes less steps for you to get into place. (I'd like to hear conflicting points on this one 4. To be continued when I...
  17. Hurricane 3 Provincial Blue Sponge

Congratulations on your new rubber! I hope you enjoy it more than the other rubbers you've used in the past! Will you be boosting it?
  18. Tall table tennis players.

CANT STRESS ENOUGH. Tall players need to develop their backhand. if they're a shakehand player especially your elbow point is a huge weakness and footwork is EXTREMELY important for you to avoid that elbow point. I'll elaborate more after I finish reading your posts lol. After finishing reading...
  19. Why do you boost?

I boost every one of my rubbers. But I only boost them once they have died. I order a new pair of rubbers and I boost the old ones and play with them until my new ones come in. What I hate most about boosting is how much it weighs my paddle down.
  20. Something to think about regarding technique

' Just common curtesy i guess. The way I was raised, when I feel like I acted inappropriately or am proven wrong, I try to admit fault. Sure it's easy to just keep coming up with more and more scenarios that would prove myself right, but my father had always told me it was a sign of maturity...
