  2. Light vs Heavy blade question

So i have a blade maker (ross leidy) making me another violin composition blade. Last time i had him do this i requested it at about 86grams. to do this he had to make the head size a bit oversized. with the oversized head i had to use more rubber on the blade making it heavier than all my other...
  3. Strange equipment change issues.

if you read my post i said that i used his paddle myself. it works fine.
  4. Strange equipment change issues.

saying the combination doesn't match is nonsense. I've used it myself and it took very little to no adjustment. im not blaming the equipment, im just asking why it takes some players longer to adjust to equipment changes than others. there are no blades that rubbers match up badly with. maybe...
  5. Which would be a better set up?

good luck! i dont believe you should be feeling an issue with speed though. i'd have to see video to get an understanding of why your feeling like you lack power, the blade is never the reason ;)

  12. Strange equipment change issues.

So I change my equipment a LOT. My stroke doesn't change much between the change in different blades or rubbers. Adjusting to new equipment takes about 1 hour MAX for me. Anyway, i have a friend who used 1.8 thickness bluefire jp03 on both sides of his blade. He decided to test out tenergy for...

how heavy is your rosewood? do you like the feeling of it? most likely you can get the same blade in a lighter weight
  14. Advice on Shakehand Blade

propetrov, you asked for advice and then when everyone gives you similar advice you argue with them. nonsense. but maybe you're right, maybe you play like a professional player. but if this is really the case, we should all be asking you for advice instead.

  16. Blade Advise needed

If you go for more of a spinny loop then you are probably more of the type of player who grazes the ball more consistently than hitting. As a player who grazes the ball more t05 wont feel very springy to you and i think youll be very comfortable after a day of playing with it.
  17. Blade Advise needed

mx-p is a very good choice for most looping players. if money isn't an issue just go all out and do Tenergy 05. you said you play close/mid-range and finish with a loop. what level player are you? if you're consistantly finishing with the 3rd or 4th ball loop, im assuming it's a power loop...
