  1. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

On another topic, is anyone here in US going to attend the badger open in wisconsin?
  2. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

+1 for this. Archo, any experienced enough player probably will over-estimate underspin rather than under-estimating it (except in serves). This is because when they do pushes, they're not only trying to return the ball but also trying to add rotation to the ball. Watch the pro players...
  3. Best balls

Well, since TT is a much bigger sport in Europe (especially germany and sweden) compared to US I'm not surprised with the additional club budget to use such ball. Not to mention NP 40+ is one of the most used ball for championship in Europe. I'm not sold on your comment about XSF seamless being...
  4. Whats is the difference Freitas ALC, Boll ALC, Vicaria?

Most probably it's just a re-branded Maze. It might be a bit different depending on the weight standard. Just like how Apolonia ZLC is basically a heavier Innerforce Layer ZLC
  5. Best balls

Nittaku premium 40+. They're ridiculously expensive but they'll receive abuse like no other balls do (in other words, balls of steel)
  6. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I have a question for those who are good with BH flick. When you're receiving an empty or topspin serve, flicking is easier since you don't have to lift the ball up and just flick it straight away on the top of the bounce. But when you're receiving a double bounce back-spin ball, should you...
  7. Fan Zhendong's Equipment

Still the same thing. Viscaria with Hurricane 3 National and Tenergy 05. Pro players rarely make equipment changes (with some exceptions)
  8. Are these fake rubbers?

You mean where delta pooped itself and stopped all flights?
  9. Cho!

Out of the things archo have said, that one took the cake for me
  10. Cho!

    WTF is this....
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Handle, head heaviness and it irks me a sheet of tenergy is more expensive than the blade itself :p I'm somewhat concerned with the speed difference between the 2. Probably looking for something that plays like acoustic
  12. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

With that in mind NL, I'm thinking of grabbing either OSP V or the V+ to replace the SPW. Which one do you think I should go with? I'm probably gonna ask for 86-88gr for the weight.
  13. Tenergy price gone up??

Just bought tenergies the other day, a friend of mine asked me to grab 2 sheets of T05 and 2 sheets of T80. Each one costs $53 each but because of 3% card surcharge it becomes $55. Was kinds happy when I asked them for the rubber, they went to their supply room and took out a small cardboard...
  14. Tenergy price gone up??

Well, unless you have spring sponge addiction you still could run to other rubbers I guess :D My level of play is still not where I could utilize Tenergy's full ability. But even after trying rubbers after rubbers, nothing gives you the same feedback the spring sponge provide
  15. Need Setup Bat Under 185 gr

I think rather than changing your blade, you could get away with changing your rubbers. I've played with the same blade with the same exact weight before. The setup was a T05 with Vega Europe. The setup was not light, but the balance of the overall setup makes it easy to use. I'm guessing...
  16. Need Blade for a new tenergy setup

What's your current level of playing right now? I could recommend from primorac to Mizutani Super ZLC but it all depends on your level. Tenergy works well almost on any blade so your choice really is endless
  17. Cleaning rubbers !

LIES! My korean friend never cleans his rubber until I try his from time to time and tell him to get some water and clean it because there's basically a layer of dust on his rubber
  18. My top all wood blades.

Head-size, handle and for my specific unit, the weight. I generally prefer 157x150 headsize or slightly below. Just like SPW, Offensive S' feels a bit weird for me. Second is the handle, the U-shaped curvature on the handle is too small. I rest my thumb on the curvature and generally used to...
  19. My top all wood blades.

Cool, I guess I'll just order one and sell the rest of my blades except for IF ZLC. Now, anyone interested in SPW, TBS, YEO, and Offensive S? :D Also, do you think i should grab the Virtuoso, or the V+? For reference my 88-89 gram SPW with R7 is plenty fast enough and the speed is pretty...
  20. My top all wood blades.

Carl, what's your V+ handle shape? I like 5-ply wood but SPW is too damn big and the handle doesn't suit me. Was thinking of adding OSP V or V+ to the collection if their squared ST handle is basically the same dimension as TB ALC or MJ
