I got my national q968 from Prott today! including H3N national BS 40°, D09c and Haifu black. All DHS and Haifu products are authentic, haven't checked Butterfly but looks like usual in all aspects. Wight of the blade is a neat 90,0 gr. Great finish. Could probably skip sealing it (?) still a...

I’ve never understood the numbers, 1,2,3 and so on. That’s on player version right?
  6. DHS 968 Thread

Will I have to seal my q968? I’ve read DHS i general re prone to splinter, is this also true for the national blades?
  7. DHS 968 Thread

Ok thanks! This is my friends, I’m waiting on my national. But holy damn, he put a star edition H3 wang chuqin 41,5° on it, the best forehand setup I’ve tried. I’ve bought a national 40° for me, just hoping it will be just as good
  8. DHS 968 Thread

Can anyone tell what version this is? Commercial or provincial? https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/dhs-hurricane-wang It’s confusing with the different prices on tt11 and prott.
  9. Rumour new Butterfly flagship rubber

Could it a response to Hurricane 3, regarding the name? A tacky, hard(er), non-spring sponge? Would be cool if butterfly had a blue sponge rubber =)
  10. DHS 968 Thread

This info is super valuable! Thank you! This together with every other review I have found led me to order the national Q968. It seems to me a balanced option taking into account my previous blades, going into the top tier of blades available!

  12. DHS 968 Thread

Would you mind telling me your current personal opinion of these blades? I’ve read this thread a few times, but opinions and feelings can still vary over time I’ve noticed. I’m a bout to order a national Q or W, leaning towards Q. I’m went from Viscaria, to FZDALC, getting softer and softer...
  13. DHS 968 Thread

Interesting! Are these national, prov or commercial? It’s clear w968’s outmost limba layer is thicker than on both Q & S. Q & W has the same core thickness, while S has thicker core but with same outer layer thickness as Q?
  14. Looking for an extremely tacky rubber.

And also less gears if I remember correctly, i liked it in short game and full power, but can be a little deceiving in the mid gears compared to H3N. It’s also a bit brittle, but you don’t need to boost it.
  15. Looking for an extremely tacky rubber.

Yeah Victas TDE is cray. Nice rubber too, very hard, the sound alone could intimidate most opponents 🥹
  16. How to know if my bh loop will hit the table?

Ah.. yeah that’s different! Either you push here, or you flick it!
  17. How to know if my bh loop will hit the table?

Hit the boll on the highest point, get low and use your legs! Look at how Fan Zhendong and Lin Shidong move their bodies and hands during these shots, also look at Ma Longs technique. A little different styles, but to me they have a really particular movement when hitting those shots (if in a...
  18. Wang Chuqin, Lin Shidong, and Xu Xin

Wang has Hurricane Wang Chuqin (commercial version) and his Q968 versions, provincial and national (aka official), versions of W968.
  19. Dignics 09c on backhand?

Best BH rubber for me, prefer it over D05 and H3 37°. I think it’s somewhat picky with the blade tho, and you can not ever be passive with D09c
  20. Quan Shi Bao is amazing

    What blade is that?
